The Falls Hotel & Inn

The only thing good about this place is the location… paper thin walls so you hear your neighbors doing everything, the worst part is while I had the do not disturb sign on one one of the employees opened my door without knocking or any warning. I had just come out of the shower and was getting changed, I went up to the concierge to let them know what had happened and the manager of course was in a “meeting” but was told that I would receive a call right after she was done. Of coarse never received any call. If you care about privacy and sleep and not book this place

The property is old and not well-maintained. I stayed at room 209 and the toilet is bad. Also noise comes in from the windows.

They were slow attending to guests. Many people waiting in lobby for their rooms past the time they said they’d be ready

Booked through ******* with debit card, arrive at hotel and informed i need a credit card which i dont have, ita march break so most other hotels were booked up so i had to stay at a shelter, very disappointing

Booked last minute after receiving a call that a close family member died, and on the website it did not indicate a security deposit. As we left quickly, we didn’t have a credit card and upon arrival was told that we needed a $100 credit card deposit or $250 debit. We did not have this due to the circumstances and the front desk rep treated us horrible. I was in tears and begged him to speak to a manager or just take a $100 debit deposit but he refused. I then asked they refund my room so we could go elsewhere, they refused. At this point a kind man nearby spoke to my husband and put the deposit down. Only to have the front desk tell him that if he wasn’t leaving at the same time as us, he wouldn’t get his deposit back (we were leaving early next morning to get to the funeral home) this kind gentleman told us not to worry, and disappeared into the night. Paying $250 non refundable dollars for two strangers to have a place to stay. His kindness was completely taken advantage of by this hotel, who scored $250 for a couple to sleep for 8 hours in a dirty, horrible room. This Hotel should be ASHAMED of their customer service - and needs to be much more transparent with hidden fees to avoid these situations in the future.

We liked that we were so close to be able to walk to all the attractions. Our room was clean and the staff were great.

Unfortunately I cannot say anything nice about this hotel. The check in receptionist was very rude. The room had peeling paint and holes in the wall, dead ants all over the heater and the plug receptacle was hanging loose off the wall. On check in I was asked for a $100 security deposit. I do not have a credit card just a debit visa. She said if I was using that I had to prepay a $250 deposit that would be refunded at checkout if the room was fine when we left. This is absolutely ridiculous. Only 100 if I used a credit card but 250 because it was a debit card as a security deposit for a room that is disgusting. I love ******* but this hotel I would not have booked knowing al I know. I wish I could attach the photos I took.

We do not drive and so have no drivers liscence. At check in my picture id medicare card was not acceptable. Eventually it was accepted, but I was worried. Never had this problem at any other Niagara Falls hotel.

Rooms look better in the pictures then they actually were and a few lightbulbs blown out in my room.
