Another fab stay at The Glen Hotel. We always book here when visiting the nearby Highland Wildlife Park. A warm welcome from the amazing team, rooms are always clean and comfortable, loads of fluffy towels, Breakfast is amazing, selection of pastries,cereals,yoghurts, fresh juices..then on to a freshly cooked hot breakfast to set you up for the day. As its the pub, dinner is always a winner as well, using locally sourced produce (haggis, black pudding etc) great selection of whisky and beers

A very well presented hotel and bar. The room(room3) was very comfortable,cleaned very well,bathroom was gorgeous. All facilities were excellent. Our evening meal in the bar was well presented and tasted good. Service excellent and made to feel welcomed. Breakfast was one of the nicest we have had. Very tasty. Highly recommend to anyone staying this way. Just a few miles outside Aveimore,and the village and views are beautiful

The restaurant we had planned for dinner was fully booked so we decided to give the Glen hotel restaurant a try. The universe unfolded as it should and we have a great pub dinner (one of the best hamburgers I have ever had) with great beer and a very friendly service. And we were able to get back to our B&B (Clune house) on foot!

We didnt stay here but we were staying in the village and went to the hotel to eat. Greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable chap behind the bar. Selection of beers were excellent and the food was fab. Big portions and very fresh and tasty

We had booked a table for our 40thanniversary meal and as expected food and service amazing.asked for water with our meal but when it came to the bill I noticed we had been charged 2 pound a glass.seems u have to say the words tap water to not be charged. when I queried he says well I wouldn't drink Newtonmore tap water which is concerning. 🤔we were not offered any choices of water. Disappointing ending to a good day.

The room was lovely, cosy, clean and comfy. Enjoyed our meal at night in the bar, which has a impressive amount of whisky’s but the decor is fun all round. The staff were all really helpful. Breakfast was filling and set us up for the day.

My en-suite bedroom was excellent, large, warm, well lit, comfortable bed, big wardrobe and a table with two arm chairs. Evening meal and breakfast food was of average quality but in generous amounts. Draught beer on hand pump. Service excellent and very friendly.

Very comfortable hotel and welcoming staff. Shower in room excellent and warm. Great value room and breakfast deal. Nothing too much trouble to owner, bar staff and breakfast / room staff. Breakfast also good. Can thoroughly recommend hotel.

Myself and 6 pals stayed for the Camanachd Cup weekend, 3rd year in a row for some of us, tho first time the match has actually been held! Feel right at home in the Glen, clean comfy room, good shower, decent range of beers and whiskies, excellent food (breakfasts especially, tho venison steak dinner a little tough!) and staff for whom nothing is too much trouble and who seem genuinely interested in their guests. The area is hopeless for taxis but that's not the hotel's fault!
