If you want to go somewhere, the hotel can also call a taxi on your behalf. However, taxis are more expensive. It costs NT$800 to go from Ida Shao to Yunpin in 15 minutes.

The hotel is located above the Sun Moon Lake. The view is fantastic. We booked one lake view room and one room facing the mountain. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. The hotel is a bit old. The water pressure of the bathroom is very low, thus it took a long time to take a bath. The water pipe of the water basin is a bit long, it is easy to hurt your eyes if you were careless. The room lights are a bit dim while the sound of the air conditioning is quite noisy. Food varieties of breakfast is good but lack of staffs to refill the foods. You wouldn’t have much to eat if you come to breakfast lately say after 9.30am. The hotel has two car parking spaces. It is convenient and free of charge.

The front desk said that there were no rooms available, and the quilt was 200 Taiwan dollars each. After exhausting my language, I got an extra room and paid an extra 2000 Taiwan dollars.
