My girlfriend and I planned to stay at this location for 3 nights. Upon checking into the room around 8 PM, we were overwhelmed by how bad the room smelled, we were expecting some odor from a pet-friendly room but not this bad. We opened the balcony door and hoped that the smell would go away over night. The next day we noticed that the smell was still there. Upon checking closely in afternoon, we noticed that one of the double beds we hadn't slept in, smelled almost like urine. We quickly ordered room service and made them change all the sheets. The cleaning lady did a good job but sprayed whatever cleaning agent they use all over the floor, leaving it wet for an hour.
The pillows are all old, thin and lumpy, we asked for replacements but were only given 2. The bedsheets are paper thin and don't feel comfortable at all. We asked for an upgrade or a different room but were incorrectly told that they had no other options for pet-friendly rooms. Upon discovering the dirty beds, we requested a cancellation of 2 nights, but they only processed the next night's refund since we were 4 hours into the second day.
The staff was helpful enough but I wish they would've made more of an effort to shift us to an another room or refund 2 nights. I am very disappointed in this stay. The only good thing was the location which is near to the beach. But I'd rather stay at another similarly priced location near the beach than this hotel.
