The hotel is v nice! The room is clean and spacious!

About 45 mins travelling by cars to nearest place. Not easy to access by public transport.

This hotel still has all of the originals from the 1970s…including the mattresses. This was not worth even $50 a night. The only nice thing about this hotel is the outdoor bath area.

The view from the open-air bath is very nice. It was clearly explained that you should bring your towel from your room when you go to the public bath. The hotel is old, but it was well-cleaned. The view from the rooms is also nice. This hotel is located in the middle of nature.

The location is wonderful, and you can see Mt. Asama all to yourself from your room window.
This scenery was something I could not experience while staying in Karuizawa.
However, there are some inconveniences such as the restaurant being far away, the location of the bathroom which is great but far from the room, and the age of the building.
However, it is generally comfortable.
