Well, where shall I start. Basicly, it is a very good hotel. But often the details make up the exeperience. I enjoyed my stay. There are some issues I that could diminish the experience. Location: Central, close to the train station and bus station. Next shops are about 5 mins. by foot away, next good restaurant about 10 mins. In the early morning you can hear the traffic, the hotel is directly on a main road. So, if someone is sensitive to noise in the night, I cannot recommend a stay there. Cleanliness: Well.... that's an issue. I found some hair in the bathroom. An what I discovered was that apperently the cleaningstuff was to lazy to get off some dust an trash because the put it just unter the furniture that is unter the TV. Sorry, but something like this simply just should not happen! Room: I was happy with the room. It was big and my bed was soft and comfortable. I slept well. What I appreciated very much was that the holder for the bathroom towels was heated. That's pretty cool I encountered something like this the first time in a hotel. TV was OK so was the air condition. Style is typical for never hotels/business hotels. The furniture seemed a bit shabby. Service: the staff was (mostly) fantastic. I got everything I needed and I got it fast. They help you to get every information about the hotel that you need and they were very friendly. What was a bit strange is the fact that all the coworkers there were from spain. I think, one of them spoke german but everybody else english or spanish. So, they could not provide me with some information that I needed about Munich. That's the first time something like this has happened to me in a hotel. Bar: The bar is pretty cool and the drinks are good. A bit expensive but that was OK for such a hotel. Gym and spa: There is a gym and a spa but I had no time to try it. All in all I had a good experience and I would recommend the hotel.

Hotel is good, it takes 7 minutes to go to the train station, the luggage is a little far away, the neighborhood is very quiet, if you are a little dangerous at night. Hotel room is large, cold enough, breakfast I have no food, just remember very expensive

The hotel is located 2 minutes from U-Bahn station Theresienwiese, very close to Oktoberfest venue, and 20 minutes easily on foot to Marienplatz. For the price we paid you will not find a better one in the central area of Munich. The room was ready before noon when we arrived. While reading other guests' comments, I wonder if we stayed at the same hotel? Some of the guests complained that they were freezing, sleeping with their coats over blankets – however it was quite the opposite! Because of these comments I took my warmest pyjamas with me that I did not wear at all, as it was very warm in the room (we stayed 5 nights in December). The radiators can be adjusted manually as you please, from cold to super warm! Some other said they had only one towel per person, we had two and one for the floor, and they were changed whenever we threw them on the shower floor. Room was cleaned daily, and it was quite large, with nice seating area, perfectly quiet (our room was facing the yard, 3rd floor), with comfy beds, super Wi-Fi (very strong signal). It is not luxurious, but nothing was lacking in the room (even the hairdryer was there, obviously other complaining guests could not find it, as it was in the desk drawer). Breakfast was standard and decent, the only minus for us was the lack of scrambled eggs. Staff was very nice and helpful and I would recommend this place without hesitation!

The hotel is definitely old but I would still recommend staying here. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom is pretty tight. The breakfast was really good. Not a huge variety but it was great to have made to order eggs with the rest of the things that were available. The service was excellent. The front desk guys helped us with everything we needed. The hotel is literally right in front of a subway stop, which makes transportation a breeze. There is also a beautiful church across the street and it's pretty delightful. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy. Walking there from the Hauptbanhof at night when we arrived was a little unnerving. Overall, a decent stay. You're not going to be staying at the newest, shiniest hotel. It's simple and adequate. If you're planning on just spending the night and just sightseeing the rest of the day, this place fits the bill.

The hotel is not air-conditioned, the location is facing the street, the window ventilation is too noisy
B&B Hotel München-Hbf

I have taken to B&B hotels as I know what to expect: reliable, clean, modern, reasonable price, no fuss and always a good breakfast. the breakfast room at this particular B&B was an awkward layout but the food is always decent and good coffee. The receptionist was a bit strange trying to tell me the correct way to communicate time in english (despite me being a native english speaker). Otherwise, it was a normal pleasant stay and the room was very clean and quiet.

Great customer service, very comfortable room excellent location. I stayed there for 5 nights. The subway is at 5 minutes walk and main central station (Hautbanhauf) is -2 minutes walk. But the city centre is just 20 minutes walk as well. I was able to walk everywhere without any issues. The best part was that Oktoberfest location is also just 5 minute walk!!
