Hotels near Mangoni Tower in Milan

This is a beautiful hotel and we had a great time. The hotel was nice a clean, had a nice garden, the restaurant was nice and the bar was open until late. We stayed on the 2nd floor and our room was nice and spacious, aircon was great, the mini bar was well stocked and the maid came everyday. Our view out the window was nice too, we could see the cobbled streets and the tram passing by, it kind of looked like a postcard. The restaurant was nice, staff was friendly and if you like traditional Italian food then you would enjoy it. The breakfast was also nice we went down every morning, it was the same thing everyday but that was ok because it was good food. Only thing is tho, there were no omelettes as standard, I think they could have made you one but you had to pay extra (€8) Let’s talk about the bar. The bar was amazing, not only was it open til late but the bar staff were very knowledgeable on anything drink related. There wasn’t a drink that the lovely Henry or Paulo couldn’t make you. Whilst I am on the Henry and Paulo subject, I’d like to take this opportunity to just say how amazing they are. They introduced themselves and asked our names and it was lovely service ever since. They made us feel welcome, kept the amazing drinks flowing, learnt early on what kind of drinks we liked and kept the drinks coming. The service from them two was absolutely outstanding and we would visit again just to see them. They are real assets to the hotel. Thank you. The hotel itself is not far away from the duomo. We just took the subway, it was 3 stops. Once you get to the duomo you can also do the bus tours, we did the 4 tours over 48 hours which was nice. We also did the canal cruise which wasn’t far from the hotel too. Immediately outside the hotel you can also hire bikes and scooters. You just have to download the app if you haven’t already and go. All in all the hotel was great, service was great, location was great and we love Henry.

The whole hostel was very clean and beautifully harmonious furnished. Breakfast was tastefully nothing special but so good. The staff was friendly, but in no of the four days really did not take care of breakfast: after you ordered by ticket, it took relatively long until some of the order came. Some of it was right, some of it was not, and some of it was not. Often, you had to tell the shopman again to ensure that it was delivered correctly. You can borrow a castle for a 5-euro deposit to close the personal items. A colleague had no castle and thus left his personal items unlocked in the room. On the last day he found his 250 euros no longer, from which he is convinced that they were stolen.

Ideal location removed from the hustle and bustle of the city, metro at the foot of the hotel 4/5 stops from the center of Milan Decent breakfast, friendly welcome. Possibility to park along the hotel free at night and possible to pay for the next day A functional hotel

After reading all the mixed reviews, I won't lie, I was not sure what to expect. The images on the site looked great so I stayed optimistic. We landed at Bergamo and got a coach transfer to Milan Centrale which was around €60. We had 2 large suitcases so got a private taxi to the hotel which was roughly €20. Be prepared to do lots of walking!! We checked in at 2pm and paid the local tax, and the staff were lovely, all bar one who was always a bit grumpy !! The staff were more than accommodating and welcomed us so well and one of the ladies gave my children a little Minions activity pack each which they loved. Breakfast was included in our package which I didn't realise- brilliant! The selection was good and I was impressed by how many alternative milks they had as well catering to those with intolerances/allergens ie a gluten free diet. (I would however recommend that the gluten free items be placed further away from the pastries and cakes to prevent cross contamination, as well as a separate toaster) Fresh juice was available everyday as well as a good selection of fruit salad, cakes, pastries and different kinds of teas. I would suggest a few more options for those that do not eat meat. Nonetheless the breakfast was great- especially the marble cake!! We had use of the pool and gym included. My children would stay in the pool all day if they could but it was great to cool down in as it is incredibly hot!! The gentleman at the desk suggested taking the 27 tram into the city centre, and this is just a short walk away from the hotel. It takes roughly 20 mins max to get to the centre and runs every 10 mins which is great. We purchased a travel card (3 day and 2 day separately) for €12 and €8 which covered bus, train, tram and metro. (These can be purchased at convenience stores or the metro station). Children also travel free on public transport as far as I know. The rooms were big enough for us and were tidy on arrival. We didn't need housekeeping everyday but the ladies who did come in did a fabulous job and didn't disrupt any of our items. These ladies were lovely and always smiled when we greeted them. We had air conditioning which was a god send as it was very hot during our visit- nearly 40°C!! WiFi is included but you have to get daily codes which was a bit annoying but the gentleman at the desk gave us enough to cover the last few days of our trip. The hotel was clean and tidy as well as smelling nice- I need to know what fragrance is used in the lobby!! The staff were great and I cannot thank them enough for all their help during our staff, they are a credit to the Novotel chain. I'm really sorry I didn't catch any names during our stay, but can gladly recommend this hotel to my friends and family! Arrivederci!!

I´m not sure how it is like to stay at Ostelzzz for several nights, but I find it a very convenient solution for me who arrived around midnight in Milan, and already had leave from Milano Centrale by noon on the next day. I had a proper sleep for one night in a capsule. It really was a hostel, but with so much better privacy. Staffs were extremely kind and helpful. They gave me a welcome drink. Online check-in in advance made my actual check-in so much easier. Had everything I needed, incl breakfast, towel too. Clean and well-organized. Breakfast was simple, but more than good enough for me. I wouln´t hesitate to choose Ostelzzz next time.

This hotel does not deserve the 3 stars they show or the very expensive rate we paid. Grotty entrance and reception area- they actually share the lift with an apartment block next door. Thin walls, we could hear ALL the body noises next door , taps flowing and comings and goings in the corridor. I did not even try the breakfast since the area was not very attractive- the area has beautiful cafés where complete breakfasts cost between 5 and 8 Euros. to be avoided!

I spent on business almost 2 months in the residence, i found out 2 major issues: 1) wifi connection is very poor, if you need to work online and need a stable connection.. pls find another residence 2) the air recycling system does not work at all… whatever anybody is cooking you will have in your room the smell (amplified by 10 because the chimney will fully convey it) and, believe me, it is pretty much disgusting My company paid around 3.500 euro per month… while the real value-for-money is no larger than 1000 per month (or less) Overall, pls help yourself and stay away if you can All info are backed up and documented with evidence at request

A moderate hotel, in a little isolated place, I would say, the room was relatively clean, a little old-fashioned, not something special. Service moderate and that's because in the bathroom there was only one set of towels, while we were three and we had to call three times in a half hour, please bring us towels. The next day, we didn't have the towels, but they brought them faster, and they realized we had a three-bedroom and we had towels! The bed covers were light for the time (January) and we were cold but after the experience with towels we didn't bother to ask for covers too! The restaurant now where we went to dinner is a beautiful place and a careful place, but there was a terrible rumour of a group of young people who were acting as if they were alone and no one in the hotel had observed them, although obviously All the other customers were disturbed by their behaviour.

We were in Milan for a couple of days in August 22. This hotel is only one kilometre from the centre in Milan but it’s not in a great area. Positives. - The hotel in lovely inside and is built to a high specification. - The staff were all very friendly and could not have been more helpful throughout our stay. - the WiFi is absolutely brilliant. - You’re a 12 minute walk from Milan Cathedral Less positive - this doesn’t appear to be in a great area. It’s hard to find a bar or restaurant close by - There’s a lot of work being carried out in the roadway almost right outside so it appears to be like a building site. - It’s a busy hotel, so at checkout / checkin time it’s carnage. The foyer is pandemonium and littered with lots of cases and lots of Taxis etc piled up outside. Not a massive problem, but just one to be aware of. - Our room had a terrible view into a dirty apartment block

Great hotel right across from the Milan Central train station. The staff were very organized and friendly. Great suggestions for places to eat and literally 5 min from the train station. The hotel is very trendy and the rooms were a great size. Funky vibe and well situated. I had a sitting area and separate desk space. The closet was different, shelves and open hanging. Safe and fridge there too, free wifi. Great pillows and bed. Bathroom was excellent, huge shower and great amenities. Definitely would stay here again.
