Hotels near Gare de Marseille Saint-Charles, Marseille

We visited here in July for the Grand Prix so we just needed a base for 2 adults. This place had 24hr check in and was a 10min walk to the train station so it ticked those boxes! There is security on the door at night as the hotel is in a rough part of town but within a 5min walk, you are close to the Port which is gorgeous so it's a good location for exploring. The room was large and cool with a balcony, there was a definite smell from the drains so if you're sensitive to smells then it might not be the one for you but the kitchenette is large and well stocked with a Nespresso so that was nice. They provide a breakfast board for 9 euros which covered all the bases and the staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy and you get a balcony (it overlooks some apartments but it's nice to have somewhere to hang wet towels etc). I'd recommend staying here if you're looking for a base to eat/sleep. It's not luxury but it had everything we needed for a short stay in 38c heat!

Why in the same family your children are different and this concept would not apply to the other elements of life?. This is what is happening here in the countryside in this Formula 1 hotel. Indeed, far from the initial concept which still carries a large number of establishments in the chain (and then falls asleep at Accor!!!) , this establishment is a variant of the mutant gene, ie which mutates and rather well. The name is common to the other F1 hotels, but this one has been completely redone. Design floor, decoration and furniture reminiscent of the ranges of superior hotels at accord, i.e. raised and very recent bedding, Scandinavian headboard, shower area or without depending on your needs or budget, 3 coat racks, square screen and flat and a simply extraordinary vinyl paper for those without ideas (you will understand why by taking a room in this fabulous hotel), here is the BEABA of the room. Although housed on the edge of the motorway, the double-thickness glazing assumes the ambient context and provides totally waterproof sound insulation. No noise in this hotel and this is really luxury. The brooms are outside every day and the cleanliness of the common does not call for any particular remark. A sports area is currently being installed, which remains extraordinary in this range of hotels. you will soon be able to pedal and or run in a sports corner after your stressful day and a bowling alley is coming for spring, just exceptional, I told you. Finally and as usual the hotel team makes the difference or not and here it's just incredible, everyone is in tune with a common energy erected in the interest of the customer. Availability to make a three-star hotel pale, and pragmatism are essential. Only downside, the air conditioning is a bit light in very cold weather, but does not affect the quality of service which is worth an IBIS from the same group. Hôtel qui ne manque de rien et accueil hors pair. Localisation parfaite, petit déjeuner frais et complet, salle de fitness, parking, tout le confort qu'on pourrait espérer. Mais avec en plus, un traitement tout particulier d'une équipe au petit soin. Equipe qu´on retrouve chaque année, pour notre plus grand bonheur !

It is not a hotel but an aparthotel-type residence and there was no room cleaning service. When I went to ask they told me that cleaning was only done every 4 days and since we were 3, no one did the room or the bathroom during our stay. They offered me cleaning products so I could clean it myself. I was stunned. They didn't even have a bottle of cold water and it was very hot. The receptionists are very unprofessional. The breakfast was very complete but there was no toaster. I do not recommend at all. And they say they have 4 stars.

The room was very outdate and small, toilet small and smelly, room on the 2th floor on a hot day without elevator for elderly or otherwise healthwise weak people terrible. Outside a grillplace with enormous lights and noise (fridaynight). Outside our room red light from hotel very disturbing. Two older ladies at reception not very friendly or even happy people. Breakfast was very simpel, coffee was terrible. In the afternoon no service at the terras (I sat there for an hour). The swimmingpool was not to clean. The best thing in this place was the breakfast frozen yoghurt! I guess the only really

I was looking for a comfortable airport hotel to rest after a long flight and wait for my wife to join me the next day. Glad I chose this hotel for a number of reasons. The shuttle service was quick and efficient. They recognized my Hilton status, gave me a room upgrade and allowed me to check in a couple hours early which was great. The room was very comfortable and obviously had just been updated, unlike most of the other airport hotels that seem to be older. It was also surprisingly quiet, with a beautiful garden and surroundings that made me forget we were so close to the airport. I barely heard any noise and I believe the flight path makes the planes land and take off on the other side of the airport. There is also a lovely wetlands preserve right next to the hotel. The path is a bit hard to find but it's just a few feet before the entrance to the Ibis. I had nice morning run and evening stroll around the lake, something I never expected for an airport hotel. I had lunch and dinner at the restaurant and it was pretty good, though the lunch menu is extremely limited and they had nothing for vegetarians so I had to convince them to make me something off menu which they did. Dinner had a bigger menu and a couple of vegetarian choices. Food was tasty and they had a decent wine and beer menu. Prices were pretty reasonable for a hotel restaurant. Breakfast the next morning was a small buffet that covered all the basics, with freshly baked breads and pastries as one would expect in France. The service level of every person I dealt with was high. Usually airport hotel staff are rude and unhelpful but these guys were great. I will note however that the other reviews that mentioned no ventilation in the rooms were correct at least when I was there. I actually called the hotel the day before I arrived because I hate hot rooms and the receptionist assured me that the AC system was on but when I got there that wasn't the case. Not sure whether it's a technical limitation of their system or an attempt to save money but the room thermostats do nothing at this time of year. However it turned out the weather was perfect and the window could be cracked to get some fresh air so it was a non-issue for me and I was comfortable. just something to be aware of if you come on hot day and they still don't have a working AC system. All in all this place exceeded my expectations for an airport hotel and was the perfect choice for me.

We stayed in this hotel for one night and it was very functional. There were many pros to our stay: - Location was great. We walked from the airport and it took ten minutes with our wheely suitcases. We didn't bother looking for the shuttle because it was so close. - The room was small and functional. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was surprisingly quiet for an airport hotel. It had air conditioning too which was great and needed. Black out blinds didn't allow any light in in the early morning either. - Bathroom is small and functional. Towels and shower gel provided. - Breakfast was nice and we felt there was lots of choice for what we wanted. It set us up for the day. - We were offered a shuttle bus back to the aiport (it leaves at certain times) but again we chose to walk. - The staff we encountered were all nice and check-in/out was smooth. The only cons were that there seemed to be a number of small flies on the roof (not sure if they were mosquitos but probably not) and there were some ants on the floor in the room and similarly in the bathroom. There was also a mildly unpleasant smell in the bathroom so we kept the door closed unless we were using it. Overall, good value for money and very functional.

On our trip to Provence, we spent 3 nights at the Moxy. The hotel is located on the outskirts of La Ciotat in a newly built complex with various restaurants, bars and cinema. It is also ideally located for excursions to Cassis or Marseille. The very friendly staff invited us to a welcome drink. This can also be upgraded with snacks. At the Moxy, the design and practicality is always there. This applies to the lobby (incl. table football), the reading room or also the room. We spent the three nights in a family room with enough space and comfort. The tea and coffee maker were included. The breakfast is simple, but quite ok. Unfortunately, we could not use the roof top swimming pool. All in all, a very modern and well-maintained hotel, highly recommended.

Accueil désagréable, c’est limite si dire bonjour n’était pas un effort pour elle. Hautaine, prends les gens de haut, je crois qu’elle n’est pas faites pour le relationnel, il faudrai envisager une reconversion et changer de métier. L’isolement est vraiment à revoir, on entends les voisins tousser, bouger dans leur lit. Il n’y a qu’une seule prise à côté des lits, donc on a dû charger nos téléphones avant d’aller se couché. Et à la fin, la réceptionniste était au niveau de l’accueil, nous avons dit au revoir 1 fois, 2 fois, 3 fois, mon père a dis « au revoir hein » en criant, aucune réponse ! c’est des clients qui ont répondu à sa place.. J’espère pour elle que c’est son propre établissement car si c’était mon employée je l’aurai viré sur le champ Évitez vraiment cet établissement

I was room 102: air conditioning was dustful, it did not work well and breathed smoke smells over the room.... To corone all, opening the window, you fall directly on the entrance of the hotel and at 5 a.m. people discuss and then take their breakfast.... To avoid!
