We visited here in July for the Grand Prix so we just needed a base for 2 adults. This place had 24hr check in and was a 10min walk to the train station so it ticked those boxes! There is security on the door at night as the hotel is in a rough part of town but within a 5min walk, you are close to the Port which is gorgeous so it's a good location for exploring. The room was large and cool with a balcony, there was a definite smell from the drains so if you're sensitive to smells then it might not be the one for you but the kitchenette is large and well stocked with a Nespresso so that was nice. They provide a breakfast board for 9 euros which covered all the bases and the staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy and you get a balcony (it overlooks some apartments but it's nice to have somewhere to hang wet towels etc). I'd recommend staying here if you're looking for a base to eat/sleep. It's not luxury but it had everything we needed for a short stay in 38c heat!

Why in the same family your children are different and this concept would not apply to the other elements of life?. This is what is happening here in the countryside in this Formula 1 hotel. Indeed, far from the initial concept which still carries a large number of establishments in the chain (and then falls asleep at Accor!!!) , this establishment is a variant of the mutant gene, ie which mutates and rather well. The name is common to the other F1 hotels, but this one has been completely redone. Design floor, decoration and furniture reminiscent of the ranges of superior hotels at accord, i.e. raised and very recent bedding, Scandinavian headboard, shower area or without depending on your needs or budget, 3 coat racks, square screen and flat and a simply extraordinary vinyl paper for those without ideas (you will understand why by taking a room in this fabulous hotel), here is the BEABA of the room. Although housed on the edge of the motorway, the double-thickness glazing assumes the ambient context and provides totally waterproof sound insulation. No noise in this hotel and this is really luxury. The brooms are outside every day and the cleanliness of the common does not call for any particular remark. A sports area is currently being installed, which remains extraordinary in this range of hotels. you will soon be able to pedal and or run in a sports corner after your stressful day and a bowling alley is coming for spring, just exceptional, I told you. Finally and as usual the hotel team makes the difference or not and here it's just incredible, everyone is in tune with a common energy erected in the interest of the customer. Availability to make a three-star hotel pale, and pragmatism are essential. Thank you to Maratou, Norah and Justine for your availability, your smiles, and your availability to arrange our daily worries. comment largely weighed after 3 weeks in the establishment. Only downside, the air conditioning is a bit light in very cold weather, but does not affect the quality of service which is worth an IBIS from the same group. To advise and not only for a couple on weekends.
The hotel has been completely renovated. More comfortable with a contemporary decor, where Art is expressed freely through urban photography montages.

It is not a hotel but an aparthotel-type residence and there was no room cleaning service. When I went to ask they told me that cleaning was only done every 4 days and since we were 3, no one did the room or the bathroom during our stay. They offered me cleaning products so I could clean it myself. I was stunned. They didn't even have a bottle of cold water and it was very hot. The receptionists are very unprofessional. The breakfast was very complete but there was no toaster. I do not recommend at all. And they say they have 4 stars.
Our 3-star Hotel-Restaurant Kyriad Marseille-Est – Gémenos is located 7 miles from Cassis and its famous creeks. Just 12 miles from the Castellet race track, our hotel is the ideal place to stay in the heart of Provence for all your tourist, sports and business trips, as we also have a meeting room that can accommodate up to 40 people.

The room was very outdate and small, toilet small and smelly, room on the 2th floor on a hot day without elevator for elderly or otherwise healthwise weak people terrible. Outside a grillplace with enormous lights and noise (fridaynight). Outside our room red light from hotel very disturbing. Two older ladies at reception not very friendly or even happy people. Breakfast was very simpel, coffee was terrible. In the afternoon no service at the terras (I sat there for an hour). The swimmingpool was not to clean. The best thing in this place was the breakfast frozen yoghurt! I guess the only really
We're three minutes from Marseille Provence Airport MRS, and 15 minutes from Aix-en-Provence TGV train station. Companies including Helisim and Airbus are three kilometers away. Basilique Notre Dame de la Garde, beaches at Cote Bleue, Palais Longchamp, and Orange Velodrome are within 30 minutes. We offer a restaurant, an outdoor pool, and meeting rooms.

I was looking for a comfortable airport hotel to rest after a long flight and wait for my wife to join me the next day. Glad I chose this hotel for a number of reasons. The shuttle service was quick and efficient. They recognized my Hilton status, gave me a room upgrade and allowed me to check in a couple hours early which was great. The room was very comfortable and obviously had just been updated, unlike most of the other airport hotels that seem to be older. It was also surprisingly quiet, with a beautiful garden and surroundings that made me forget we were so close to the airport. I barely heard any noise and I believe the flight path makes the planes land and take off on the other side of the airport. There is also a lovely wetlands preserve right next to the hotel. The path is a bit hard to find but it's just a few feet before the entrance to the Ibis. I had nice morning run and evening stroll around the lake, something I never expected for an airport hotel. I had lunch and dinner at the restaurant and it was pretty good, though the lunch menu is extremely limited and they had nothing for vegetarians so I had to convince them to make me something off menu which they did. Dinner had a bigger menu and a couple of vegetarian choices. Food was tasty and they had a decent wine and beer menu. Prices were pretty reasonable for a hotel restaurant. Breakfast the next morning was a small buffet that covered all the basics, with freshly baked breads and pastries as one would expect in France. The service level of every person I dealt with was high. Usually airport hotel staff are rude and unhelpful but these guys were great. I will note however that the other reviews that mentioned no ventilation in the rooms were correct at least when I was there. I actually called the hotel the day before I arrived because I hate hot rooms and the receptionist assured me that the AC system was on but when I got there that wasn't the case. Not sure whether it's a technical limitation of their system or an attempt to save money but the room thermostats do nothing at this time of year. However it turned out the weather was perfect and the window could be cracked to get some fresh air so it was a non-issue for me and I was comfortable. just something to be aware of if you come on hot day and they still don't have a working AC system. All in all this place exceeded my expectations for an airport hotel and was the perfect choice for me.
Ideally located just 1/4 mile from the airport, the ibis budget Aéroport Marseille Provence hotel is the ideal starting point for exploring the former Greek city and its surroundings. This budget hotel, with free WIFI in all rooms and breakfast area, has a free shuttle from 5am to midnight. Enjoy an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet spread from 4am, and at a smart price!

We stayed in this hotel for one night and it was very functional. There were many pros to our stay: - Location was great. We walked from the airport and it took ten minutes with our wheely suitcases. We didn't bother looking for the shuttle because it was so close. - The room was small and functional. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was surprisingly quiet for an airport hotel. It had air conditioning too which was great and needed. Black out blinds didn't allow any light in in the early morning either. - Bathroom is small and functional. Towels and shower gel provided. - Breakfast was nice and we felt there was lots of choice for what we wanted. It set us up for the day. - We were offered a shuttle bus back to the aiport (it leaves at certain times) but again we chose to walk. - The staff we encountered were all nice and check-in/out was smooth. The only cons were that there seemed to be a number of small flies on the roof (not sure if they were mosquitos but probably not) and there were some ants on the floor in the room and similarly in the bathroom. There was also a mildly unpleasant smell in the bathroom so we kept the door closed unless we were using it. Overall, good value for money and very functional.

On our trip to Provence, we spent 3 nights at the Moxy. The hotel is located on the outskirts of La Ciotat in a newly built complex with various restaurants, bars and cinema. It is also ideally located for excursions to Cassis or Marseille. The very friendly staff invited us to a welcome drink. This can also be upgraded with snacks. At the Moxy, the design and practicality is always there. This applies to the lobby (incl. table football), the reading room or also the room. We spent the three nights in a family room with enough space and comfort. The tea and coffee maker were included. The breakfast is simple, but quite ok. Unfortunately, we could not use the roof top swimming pool. All in all, a very modern and well-maintained hotel, highly recommended.

I was room 102: air conditioning was dustful, it did not work well and breathed smoke smells over the room.... To corone all, opening the window, you fall directly on the entrance of the hotel and at 5 a.m. people discuss and then take their breakfast.... To avoid!

Excellent
GGuest UserWhat makes this place special are the people. Yes, it is modern, tastefully designed and immaculate with great access to public transport and a couple of local treasures, the front desk with Tata, Tania and Sujata, complete with broad smiles and great local knowledge are a compliment to manager Emmanuel and Mr Fixit, Julian.
GGuest UserReally nice! I loved how you can have your own space by closing the curtain. The beds didn't make any noise or movements when you climb into the upper bed. Maybe a small improvement: sign for where the reception/checkin is or some arrows. Overall had a nice stay, very cozy place and clean and good working services
GGuest UserWe stayed in Sofitel Marseille for 3 nights in the summer of 2023.
The hotel is located right on the periphery of the old port of Marseille where all the shops and restaurants are located. It takes about a 15-minute walk to get from the hotel all the way to the centre of the old port so the hotel is fairly insulated from the hustle and bustle of the old port. The exterior of the hotel looks a bit dated but the interiors feel very fresh, clean and bright.
We upgraded our room to a deluxe room facing the old port at the reception and we thought it was worth it. We never tired of waking up to a view of the old port with a clear blue sky. The room itself was quite clean and spacious. There was enough room to open up two luggages and still move around comfortably. There is also a turn down service where the staff will put out the bedroom slippers and play some nice Jazz music when you come back.
The bed was nice and comfortable and the pillows were fluffy. The only complaint we had was that the air conditioning would turn off in the middle of the night. The air conditioning control did not seem to work and it seems like the air conditioning is centrally controlled so the in-room controls did nothing. I could not sleep the first night as it was too warm and stuffy so we asked for a ventilateur (fan) the next day. That helped us to sleep better. Obviously, if you are planning to stay during the winter months then the heat at night should not be an issue.
The staff at the reception were always pleasant, warm, friendly and polite. We were upsold the room with a view when we checked in so that should say something about how friendly the staff were. It was EUR70 per night for the room with a view and it included overnight parking (EUR27 per night) so it was really only about EUR50 extra per night. The valet and the concierge were all very helpful and nice and they all speak English well enough.
If you intend to park here, do note that the roads within the hotel property can be quite narrow and the parking lots are quite narrow as well. It may be worthwhile getting the valet to help you park your car at least for the first day because driving from the car rental agencies at the Marseille train station to the hotel was stressful enough for us.
We paid around EUR300 - 350 a night but we thought it was worth it and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
MMair DStayed in this hotel in June 22. Have to admit that my first impression was student halls but we adapted well. The apartment was small but very clean. We had one bedroom but only big enough to house twin beds and a bedside table and a lamp. The beds were very comfortable. There was a separate toilet and a small bathroom with a over bath shower. I first thought that the bath was not clean but it was just here the enamel had worn away. There was a small kitchenette with cooker, fridge and dishwasher. We didn’t use it except for tea and coffee as we had B&B which was good the lady in the dining room was very friendly and was happy to help. We ate out for dinner. There is a table and chairs and a sofa bed in the living area plus a tv. The balcony was big and facing the sea which was nice with lovely views over the bay. There were patio table and chairs. If you are staying less than 8 days you won’t get room service but will provide it at an extra cost. There is a free safe deposit in all rooms. I think this is because of covid. There is free WiFi and a safety deposit box. There is no hairdryer in the rooms but you can get one from reception at no cost if you ask. Reception were ok but didn’t speak much English but we were in France after all so got by. The pool is small but nice the only thing is that there is no seating around the pool. Most people were just sitting on the decking on towels. The hotel is just 5 minutes from the beach. The only thing is that it was not Sandy but stony and gritty not good for making sand castles. There are no sun beds or parasols to hire, and very little shade. There is a Sandy beach further down the bay about 10 mins walk. There are restaurants close by but also more on the Sandy beach which is lovely. Also a good supermarket near too. You can get a bus into the city on the road next to the hotel the No 83 is €2 per person each way along the coast to the marina. I have to say that the external walls of the hotel need to be tidied up they look very tired. A lick of paint is needed badly, and maybe the rooms brought up to date a little. Maybe the hotel group could invest some funds into doing this. All in all we had a good stay but it could have been better. Thank you to all staff the made our stay comfortable.
XXIAOCHENThe environment of the facility is tidy and OK, that is, there are too few supporting travel services in the store, and little information can be obtained from the clerk's mouth ......... It is not necessary to be careful about a map.
GGuest UserLocation wise the hotel is just two or three minutes walk from the Colbert Metro Station or maybe 14 minutes walk from the main St Charles railway station. It is also only about five to seven minutes walk from the main tourist area down by the port. Obviously not the fault of the hotel but the street it is on it heavy with graffiti, there was smell of urine and hobos sleeping nearby. That might sound nasty, but it's just a fact. Check-in was simple and quick and the lobby is OK if you like looking at a piano covered in faux graffiti. All rather tacky and blingy looking. Bedroom was OK if you like decor in purple and vinyl light blue covered chairs in your room. No proper desk for computer use although you can use a small table and stool. Wifi connection was good. Air-conditioning worked. Bathroom acceptable although the 'open' toilet brush holder could surely be improved upon. Hairdryer provided but you can't use it in the bathroom as there is no plug point for a hair dryer. It can however be used in the hallway. Carpet was dirty. I thought at first it was maybe just our room but upon stepping out into the corridor there was dirt and dust everywhere, especially along the sides by the skirting boards. The cleaners main corridor door was often left open letting guests see inside the cleaners store room area. Breakfast was good. In fact, most of it was better than good. Comprehensive selection of breads and croissants/pastries, cheeses, hams, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, coffee machines and scrambled egg. The fallafel was also a great thing which I hadn't expected. Not so good were the burnt sausages and the very fatty/oily streaky bacon each morning. But overall, a good variety and enjoyable. Would we return? Probably not. The hotel really needs to do something to clean the carpets in the corridors properly and to get new toilet brush holders in the rooms. Very off-putting.
GGuest UserThe room is well equipped with a refrigerator, oven, stove, separate toilet and shower, bathtub, and balcony. It is very close to the subway station and the transportation is very convenient. The staff are warm and friendly.
GGuest UserIt is with immense satisfaction and tremendous felicitation to all the managing staff at Goldentulip Euromed-M****ille. I would wish to extend my very special heartfelt thanks to Ms Celine, Ms Taina, and Mr. Saintiago. The tremendously competent lady: Ms. Celine. She is really a GTS: Géniale, Top, et Super. Ms. Taina is an always helpful lady with a special welcoming smile that makes feel more than at home. Mr. Saintiago is a man of solutions. He never tells you about the difficulties. For him, there is always a solution for the customers when a whatsoever problem happens. Thanks to you three, and to all the staff working with you, Goldentulip Euromed-M****ille has become a place for everything and everything in place. In a word: You are the best. 👍. I wrote this review after more than ten stays in this exceptional hotel to say that buildings become alive with the working staff that are managing them. I have tried three other nearby hotels, and it is a mistake to even think of comparing Goldentulip Euromed-M****ille to them. You cannot compare the incomparable!!
CChentingGreat recommendation! My friends said that next time I come to Marseille, I will stay at their home. It is close to the subway station. The key is to cook and cook. It simply burns the Chinese soul. The pots and pans are all available. The hotel has many free facilities. I like the welcome drink. The super refreshing bubble water is also picked up a bottle before leaving. The front desk lady is also very enthusiastic, full score 💯
