Price is quite reasonable with quality breakfast and facilities. Location is very good. Near to city centre. Parking fee is not bad. But the hotel is very busy. No bath and hand wash gel for both of my two rooms, even I went to the reception to request, they marked the problem but finally ignored which made me a bit disappointed.

Very friendly service (the hotel receptionist is a very friendly and helpful young Portuguese woman), very beautiful rooms, and very good value for money. Excellent four star hotel with good amenities in the rooms - shampoo, conditioner, soap, shower gel, body lotion plus nail file, shower cap, cotton buds, cotton wool pads and water in the mini fridge, safe in the room. Dressing gown and slippers provided. I paid extra for a slightly larger room with a view of the Old Port and it was well worth it. The Port is noisy but the double glazing is very good. The A/C in the room was good. The room and bathroom were clean and serviced daily. I thought the shower could do with an upgrade - no hotels have a hand held shower these days but it was sufficient. Also the room carpet and the main stair carpet are tired and could do with replacing but they were clean and vacuumed. The reception staff were fantastic - friendly, helpful, always pleased to see me when I came back in and interested in knowing what I’d been up to. Milolo was especially good, getting my room ready a bit earlier when I arrived on an early flight, helping with information and printing out my boarding card when I left, but they were all lovely. As a single woman traveller I felt safe and comfortable/at home in the hotel and would highly recommend it. I would definitely go back.

I would wish to extend my very special heartfelt thanks to Ms Celine, Ms Taina, and Mr. Saintiago. The tremendously competent lady: Ms. Celine. She is really a GTS: Géniale, Top, et Super. Ms. Taina is an always helpful lady with a special welcoming smile that makes feel more than at home. Mr. Saintiago is a man of solutions. He never tells you about the difficulties. For him, there is always a solution for the customers when a whatsoever problem happens. Thanks to you three, and to all the staff working with you, Goldentulip Euromed-M****ille has become a place for everything and everything in place. In a word: You are the best. 👍. I wrote this review after more than ten stays in this exceptional hotel to say that buildings become alive with the working staff that are managing them. I have tried three other nearby hotels, and it is a mistake to even think of comparing Goldentulip Euromed-M****ille to them. You cannot compare the incomparable!!

Although our stay was fine, we had a very bad experience. My brother-in-law forgot his tablet in his room. He had left it on the floor near the wall and in the morning upon drawing the curtains open the tablet was hidden behind so he didn't see it. Arriving in our next hotel destination (Villeneuve-Loubet) he realized the tablet was left in Toyoko-Inn. He immediately called the hotel and the security guy told him no tablet was found. He went to personally check the room that happened to be empty as no guest was in that room that night. He then told my brother-in-law he didn't find anything. We called the hotel again the following day and we got the same answer. We sent an e-mail to the hotel manager only to get the same answer. Since there was no other guest in that room it seems that only people from the hotel entered it. We can not believe a tablet can vanish without a human intervention so we suspect that somebody from the hotel found it but didn't deliver it to the reception. This matter ruined the remaining days of our vacation and left a bitter taste in our mouths. I sent a complaint to the Tourism Office in M****illes but they couldn't answer me as they are on public holidays! So, if you stay in that hotel double and triple check your room before you leave because if something valuable is forgotten it's more than certain it won't be recovered or compensated.

The surrounding area is well-developed, and you can sample a variety of seafood and French breakfast when you go out. The hotel is facing the old port, the distant Notre Dame is clearly visible, no curtains at night, watching the lights of the Notre Dame sleep, do not have a taste. The room has a room dedicated to children, and the decoration is warm. Whether you are taking a sightseeing bus, going to the subway, or visiting the Old Port Market, it is very convenient. Especially recommended!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Alex hotel. Conveniently located near the train and bus station. Our room (702), was large and clean, with newer furniture, carpet, and all the amenities. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and spoke English which was so helpful for us and our limited French. Great experience. The only draw-back was the neighborhood, which was more impoverished. The Alex hotel, courtyard and lounge were such a joy and reprieve for us after our long days touring around M****ille. We intentionally chose the Alex hotel over the Port area hotels, due to the peace and quiet, and it was well worth it.
