Riad l'Arabesque

Very good choice if you want to live the real Morrocan experience. Forget about the European standard but the Riad is nice, clean and very very good located with a very good breakfast and a friendly host. Internet ok, nice terrace. They offer all kind of facilities ( trips, transfers or restaurant ) without any pressure. Will repeat.

Simo was the most accommodating host (even if between the two of us constantly used his phone charger!) who was calm and always smiling. He was more than happy to give us maps and a really intricate outline of the city with all it's museums. The breakfast was super, like really good - just pastries and bread with jams and a peanut butter like thing (it's got honey and almonds) that is really good. The room was high ceilings and the shower was great. Location is just off the old town market streets, amazing how you can go straight from this loud, wild and exhaustive streets into this serene, magical peaceful riad. The sound disappears and next thing you're having a mint tea with the water feature pattering away in the background. If we had had more time then I think we would of gone up to the rooftop a bit more - as it happens we spent some of our time at the rooftop bars. The rooftop bar/restaurant down the way called Un dejuner a Marrakech is damn good. Try the aubergine cavier! Once again my gratitude to a gracious and warming host Simo. Won't be the last time I stay here.
