宮津駅より徒歩で10分程かかり、天橋立へ3km程の距離があり、宮津市街地唯一のコンビニエンスストアにも徒歩で10分程度要する場所にあるホテルです。周辺環境の状況から利用しづらい印象を持つと思いますが、だからこそかもしれませんが、平日休日問わず周辺は静かで、大声でおしゃべりするような宿泊客もおらず、非常に快適に滞在できるホテルだと思います。ホテルのスタッフも一様に丁寧な接客で、気さくに声をかけてくれるものの、必要以上に距離を詰めてくるような接し方はしません。 ロビーから客室に至るまで、清潔さが保たれているのは言わずもがな、設備やアメニティも無駄が無くよくまとまっています。客室への入室時のカードキーをかざすセンサーが分かりづらい、客室の電気系統がやや分かりづらい（入口のスイッチは、部屋全体の電気系統のオンとオフを切り替えるもののようです）、バスルームはバスタブが無くシャワーのみ（且つ大浴場が無い）、という注意点がありますが、それ以外は全く申し分はありません。 1階のロビーには待ち合わせスペースの他、共用のキッチンのようなスペースがあり（シンクがあるだけで実際の調理は出来ません）、宿泊客に対し無料でコーヒーを始めとするドリンクのサービスが提供されています（全て無料です）。 殆どの宿泊客が車で利用するからか、充分な広さの駐車場が備わっている上、ホテルの目の前には高速バスのバス停があるため、京都などからの高速バスを利用してのホテルの利用も非常に便利です。 周辺は飲食店がいくつかありますが、上記の通りコンビニエンスストアはこのホテルよりやや遠いところにあります。一方でホテルの北（徒歩2～3分程度）のところにショッピングモールがありますので、食糧調達に殊更不便、ということは無いと思います。周辺環境にやや難はあるものの、ホテル自体は素晴らしく、何度も利用したくなるホテルです。 It takes about 10 minutes on foot from Miyazu Station, about 3 km to Amanohashidate, and about 10 minutes on foot to the only convenience store in Miyazu city center. There are a few minor issues: the sensor to hold the card key when entering the room is confusing, the electrical system in the room is a bit confusing (the switch at the entrance seems to turn the entire electrical system on and off), and the bathroom is shower only with no bathtub (and there is no large bath). Other than that, everything else is perfect. In addition to the meeting area, there is a common kitchen-like area in the lobby on the first floor (with a sink, but no actual cooking) where coffee and other beverages are served to guests free of charge (all free of charge). The hotel has a large parking lot, probably because most guests use the hotel by car, and there is an express bus stop right in front of the hotel, making it very convenient to use the hotel by express bus from Kyoto and other cities.
