I recently stayed at One Shot 22 to celebrate my Birthday and my Daughter's Graduation. I rented two premium rooms. The photos of the rooms depicted a wrap around balcony. Upon arrival the A/C did not work. When I attempted to call the front desk no one picked up the phone. After a few failed attempts on trying to reach someone by phone I proceeded to go down to the lobby. The explained to the receptionist that the AC was not working and I attempted to call but no one had answered the phone. The receptionist stated that she heard the phone but was helping someone else so she could not pick up the phone. I was ok with that response. She then advised me that she was would turn on the AC from a master control station at the desk. I expressed my concern that I would not be able to adjust the AC directly from the room. The receptionist then stated to call the front desk if I want the AC adjusted. I believe this was unacceptable. I was exhausted from travelling that day and went to bed hoping I would not have an issue with the AC. The next day I went down to the front desk to express my dissatisfaction with the two premium rooms not having the wrap around balcony depicted in the room pictures. The receptionist argued that there were no such pictures in the room description. I should her copies of my reservations and asked her to go on their website to verify the pictures. Upon the receptionist viewing the images she apologized and stated there was only one room in the hotel with a wrap around balcony. The only reason I booked two premium rooms in this hotel was to be able to sit out on the balcony and relax after a long a day. I asked to speak to a manger. The receptionist stated there was no manger on site but provided with a phone number to the manager. I called and left a message. I went out for the day upon arrive the AC was not working again for the second time. I had to go back down to the lobby for the receptionist to activate the AC. Again, I requested to speak to manager. The receptionist reached out to the manager and left the manager a message to contact me. When the manager contacted me I expressed to her that the ONLY reason I booked the hotel was for the balcony overlooking a small park. Again I was advised they only had one premium room with a wrap around balcony. I alerted the manager that One Shot was misrepresenting the premium rooms by displaying photos of a wrap around balcony. The manager apologized for the inconvenience and stated that she would advise the marketing department of the images displayed. I asked for a discount because I felt I was paying a premium price but not receiving what One Shot portrayed in their Premium room images. I must be honest, the bed and pillows were VERY comfortable. The bathroom was showing it's age with the wallpaper peeling. My wife had a difficult time putting on her make up with the poor lighting over the vanity. Very good, modern hotel, in a fantastic location in the city. This hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the local Metro station and less than 10 minutes walk to Plaza de España and the beginning of Grand Via. To reach the very Centre of the city (Sol) it's only 20 minutes by foot or you can use the Metro with only one change. We paid direct to the reception for breakfast on one of our 3 mornings and it was well worth the money. A good range of tasty food and drink on offer. The bed was very comfy. The WiFi worked very well. Air con was excellent. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will return to this hotel.

The room was very spacious with huge bathroom and cabinet. Also the room was clean. The location is around 15 minutes away from Gran Via on foot and there is nearby by Metro station for line 2 where you can reach many hotspots in Madrid. The staff were very helpful and providing suggestions.

The location of the hotel is very central and well located, good cleanliness and good price quality. Before entering the hotel, Marisa, from the hotel staff, assisted us by phone wonderfully and explained to us how to check in online, since in this hotel it is done that way (something that Trip.com should explain and is not indicated) .

I was really looking forward to staying here, but was shocked to find out it was under major renovation when I arrived. It was never mentioned on the website or in any reviews. I actually walked past it, thinking it was being taken down and couldn’t possibly be the hotel. The staff were really understanding and were kind enough to find me another hotel, as I didn’t have time to find an alternative. From what I saw the room looked nice. Such a pity about the construction, which is from 8am-6pm.

The location of the hotel is very good, and there are a lot of open-air restaurants and shopping places. But the hotel has a certain room type that can accommodate three people. Whether the couple carries a child or the parents carries two children, the front desk strictly implements the rules for two people. You need to add money to another room type with a sofa bed to accommodate three people. This information hotel did not provide at all when booking with Ctrip.

Santa Barbara in the Justicia district of Madrid is a local's paradise. It's a squarish plaza and park and terraza all rolled into one. It has cafes and a beer hall and a few restos. And a hotel. I stayed there twice during a recent trip to Europe and found a cozy and comfy place in the heart of town but in a district that still hasn't been completely conquered (or spoiled) by hordes of tourists. The hotel has its amenities including a popular bar in the courtyard. But the true nature of the place is the staff. Sergio, Gabriel, Andrea and company just want to make you feel welcome and will go out of their way to ensure you have a good stay. And Natalia must be the happiest person in Madrid. If you wake up in a grumpy mood, by the time you reach the front desk and Natalia says ”Hola!” with a big smile, your mood is sure to change. Justicia may not be your destination if you're a first timer in Madrid and may want to stay in the thick of touristier areas. For seasoned travellers to Madrid, you can't get a better deal. Or a bigger smile.

Good place to stay for short trips to Madrid, we will probably book again at the property in the future, perhaps with breakfast and late check out for a change. We loved the enviroment and atmosphere. Beds where confy, but if you have big luggage it may be an issue Lockers available as well.

The hotel is very good. The room is very good. The room is very big. The privacy is very good. The service is super super. We put the luggage in the room when we were in Checkin. The only downside is that it is a bit far from the central area. The walk is about 20 minutes. There is nothing to go around. The subway station is ok, but it is not convenient. The main attractions are not direct.

I stayed at this hotel again because I was too familiar with the surrounding environment. There are restaurants with Carrefour and Chinese supermarkets. The subway is close to the subway. The facilities are old. Like other European old hotels, the service and sanitation are no problem.
