The guy from the front desk actually looked through the closed glass doors and came out to help me carry my suitcase up the 5 (or so) steps up to the lobby for check in. Nice first impression. Room is tiny for the price, but the floor feels clean, bedding looks clean, toilet and basin all look clean too. Toilet paper is thick and soft enough, and the long pillow is super comfy (soft touches are always appreciated). Flushing is strong enough and no problem with water flooding the bathroom cubicle. No space next to basin to put toiletries bag. Couldn't charge my Samsung phone using the original Samsung adaptor and international adaptor -- voltage too low?? As an Asian, water kettle in room would have been appreciated but not available.

Excellent location. 5 min walking to atoche station. Many shops nearby. Prado museum approx 10min walk. No tissue paper and water boiler provided in room.

The location is super convenient, really close to the train station, which makes shopping easy, and it's not far from the main attractions either. The environment is nice, and we had a great check-in experience! We booked this hotel three months in advance, and it definitely exceeded our expectations.

This hotel is excellent. It's a century-old building, but the rooms have been newly renovated and are very clean. The rooms are also quite spacious, and the location is fantastic, right across from Atocha train station, next to the Reina Sofia Art Centre, and not far from the Prado Museum. There's a subway station right outside, making it incredibly convenient for getting around.
