Although in Beverly Hills, it is actually four kilometers away from Rodeo Drive. Still quite far away. So the location is a bit awkward The surrounding is relatively remote and the traffic is not very convenient. So I understand why there is no reason why Chinese people live. To say that it is Marriott, in fact, it is the title. Much like a convenient hotel. This price is also expensive enough. The price is super low. Once in the room, the thick sewer tastes. The room is small. Go downstairs to pick up the conversion plug š. Nothing to say, it is totally an attitude that is not my business. The service is very general. Of course, if it is a convenient hotel, it will endure. The problem is that the price is not. This hotel is strongly discouraged.
A boutique slice of heaven along L.A.ās Miracle Mile, Kimpton Hotel Wilshire is urban, modern and stylish. It has everything you could want for a stay in L.A., like a rooftop pool. Youāll have views of the Los Angeles skyline, too, including the iconic Hollywood sign. And the luxe location puts you right in the heart of the action: Beverly Hills, the Sunset Strip, Museum Row and shopperās mecca The Grove is just minutes away.

- turn out no bath tub included (which is stated in the booking selection)
- unclear instructions or information provided by staff, need to ask everything
- good location, walkable distance to few good restaurants
- free daily lyft ride is super helper to those who are not driving in town
- good neighborhood (safe and quiet, but not too quiet, with traffic)
- room is clean and bright

Customer service is really poor in this hotel; I am very happy only with 2 staff members who were the only ones who helped without an attitude. Terrible that they charge you 60 USD per day for parking even if you are a guest. Rooms are old and not taken care of well.

The hotel is situated near residential areas, so itās quiet at night and safe. Most of the male staff are kind of friendly however the female staff (one bartender, one at the service desk are extremely rude). When I checked in the hotel, the toilet was flooded and TV remote wasnāt working. They fixed it promptly afterwards which is fine.
However, donāt book the hotel unless you considered these few things:
1) there is a resort fee is $58 USD added on top of your booking, they offer $32 dining credit with the resort fee but charge $8USD for delivery fee for in-room dining (not including tips, tax etc)
2) valet parking is $66USD. There are no many parking options near the hotel so you have no choice but to pay these.
Donāt be fooled by the cheap room prices until you consider these extra cost abovez
So if you stay in the hotel, be prepared to be charged additional ~ $120 USD per night on top of what youāve booked here on trip .

The Christmas and New Year atmosphere is particularly strong. The Monroe sign at the door looks like many people come here to take pictures.
The butler service is very good, the meals in the room service are super delicious, and the service level is also very high.

This hotel is one of my favourites in Los Angeles to stay at as itās located next to two decent shopping centers, is Beverly Hills adjacent, has efficient valet parking and the rooms are kept in good shape and tidy. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay. Although the rooms are not big, and the room phones take time to master the bathrooms make up for it as they have a decent setup and good quality amenities.

It was the worst hotel.
I stayed because it was the stage of Pretty Woman, but I am dissatisfied. Arrived by UBER from the road side.
There was a bellboy, but he didn't even help me unload my suitcase from the car.
I'm just standing there blankly. Even though I checked in after 16:00, there was no twin bed room that I had reserved. When I complained, I was told to wait for 20 minutes, so I reluctantly went to the front desk.
I decided to wait on the sofa next to it, but it didn't come to tell me that the room was ready even after 30 minutes. When I asked what happened to the front desk, they said that they had forgotten about it, and I didn't even think they were apologetic. I had a cup of tea at a stylish restaurant on the first floor with a view of the outside, but even if I asked the guide to pay the bill, he wouldn't move. After 20 minutes, the fourth person finally paid the bill. I received the lowest treatment even though I stayed at a super luxury hotel. On top of that, the hotel union was on strike, and from 6:00 in the morning to noon, we put up placards in the hallway of the hotel and shouted drums and shouted loudly. It's noisy and I can't relax.
In the room, there was a notice paper and earplugs saying that the strike would cause trouble. The strike seems to have no end in sight. If I knew there was going to be a strike, I should have informed them before my stay and had canceled it. Even though I paid a high price, it turned out to be the worst trip ever. I think I was clearly racist from the front desk, bellboys, waiters and other hotel staff. Because they were amiable to white customers.
Employees working in such a hotel understand the feeling of wanting to strike.

One of the most satisfying hotels in Los Angeles, a little-known restaurant on the first floor. The food is amazing. Iāve never been there. I really didnāt know there was such a treasure restaurant hidden here.
The room facilities are good and new. The internet is great and the bed and pillows are very comfortable.
Toiletries need to be requested and not provided proactively.
The room cleaning was very timely and attentive.
The location is great, just off Rodeo Street, a few minutes walk away.
The only drawback is that the floor is low, close to the road, and a bit noisy.

YYC008Here's why we gave the experience 3 stars;
First of all, when we booked the hotel, neither Trip.com nor The Aster, Los Angeles, mentioned anything about the rooftop being closed on the dates we booked. On May 13 and May 14, we stayed in room 3 0 6. The hotel pictures showed and bragged about having a rooftop and plenty of pics of people there, and nowhere was revealed anywhere on their website or Trip.com that would not be available on those dates. When we reached out to Trip.com, they pretty much said that the rooftop amenities weren't listed as part of our package. Really Trip.com? You have to list the rooftop as the amenity... Got it. That was so lame a response. Everyone knows people book due to the pictures, and this was a seriously lame response from the Trip.com customer support personnel. We decided to save our opinion for this review.
The Aster had nice people, but it's hard to believe the availability missing on their website is a detail they would miss. Their hotel has impeccable detail and design. One can only surmise they conveniently left out the information because people would obviously not book there and go somewhere else. I told the front receptionist this as we were checking in. She mentioned, well, it said it on *******. But we didn't book through *******, we booked through Trip.com. And those specific details were not evident. After July 1st the Government is getting stricter on transparency with hotels having to mention things so we missed this window, but we're happy to hold hotels like The Aster accountable:-)
Also, on Wednesday, we checked out, and they had a fire alarm drill test that lasted about 10 minutes. They forgot to mention another minor āinconvenienceā when we booked on their website. It was at 10 am. It wasn't so bad, but to state the obvious, they left out the ability for customers to decide by not making that information transparent during the booking process. It's not like the fire department or tech people didn't schedule that in advance.
1. If you book through Trip.com, please make sure you specify, call their customer support, and get it in writing. The clickbait and pictures seem shady and sketchy and reflect a lack of credibility in the process.
2. Trip.com asked which room we wanted to be in. When we picked the room, we picked the city-view balcony. But we got put in the poolside view instead. It wasn't bad, but that was missing in the booking details that Trip.com sent to The Aster. My fiance ended up being okay with the poolside view, but it should have been in the booking details via Trip.com. So please, please make sure you watch this if you book through them and call the hotel in advance.
Lastly, the decor, valet, and, in general, the service people were very nice and thoughtful. We would give them 5 stars.
RRICCADORAYI recently stayed at Fairfield Inn El Segundo. While I appreciated the convenience of the location and the heated swimming pool, which was perfect for relaxing, I was disappointed with the room. It had a noticeable smoke smell, which detracted from the overall experience. I hope the management can address this issue to ensure a more pleasant stay for future guests.
MMark-husaynThe hotel has luxury standards, complete equipment, beautiful environment, service concept and integrity management. It is convenient to watch basketball games in the NBA, and is close to the nearest stadium.
TTeo Yeow ChongHereās a revised review incorporating your point:
---
I had a smooth experience overall at the Sheraton Hotel. Check-in and service were efficient, and the facilities were well-maintained. However, I noticed some comments mentioning large crowds at certain times. It seems this is due to the shuttle service dropping off a batch of guests simultaneously, which is understandable. Despite this, the staff managed the flow effectively, and it didnāt significantly impact the overall experience. A great stay overall!
The only I can complaint is limit restaurant variety
GGuest UserI like the room interior very much. Antique and nice. It was like coming to a cafe. The room is clean and the location is 5 minutes by car. I would like to visit if I go back.
GGuest UserThe K mattress & pillows were very comfortable. The room was very spacious & quiet. Cynthia from front desk was very accommodating for my request & had a great stay. The staff were friendly, courteous & efficient. The gated covered parking came in handy for the storm & I appreciate they have 3 well functioning luggage carts for guest use. Gateway Towne Center is within walking, 1 block to Best Buy, Marshalls, etc.
GGuest UserGood value for money, the hostel is in good condition. There is free breakfast, coffee, milk, bread, cereal, muffins are all available, the toilet and bathroom are clean and convenient to use.
TTemuujinI recently had the opportunity to stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Hawthorne for a business trip, and I must say, it was a rather pleasant experience overall.
First and foremost, the hotel's proximity to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is a major advantage. It's a mere 10-minute drive away, which made it incredibly convenient for someone like me who had to catch an early morning flight. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to and from the airport, which was a nice touch.
The check-in process was efficient, and the staff at the front desk were courteous and welcoming. The lobby area is clean, modern, and well-designed, creating a favorable first impression.
I stayed in a standard room, and it was clean and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the extra pillows provided. The room had a decent view and was adequately spacious for a solo traveler. The bathroom was also clean and stocked with the necessary amenities.
One of the highlights of my stay was the on-site restaurant, The Bistro. The food was surprisingly good, and they offered a variety of options for breakfast and dinner. The staff at the restaurant were attentive and provided excellent service. However, I found the prices a bit on the higher side.
The fitness center was well-equipped, and I was able to maintain my workout routine during my stay. The hotel also has a small outdoor pool, although I didn't have the chance to use it during my stay.
The only downside to my experience was the noise level in the hallways and adjacent rooms. Thin walls seemed to allow sound to carry, which made it a bit difficult to sleep when there were noisy neighbors. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection was a bit slow at times, which could be frustrating if you're trying to get work done.
Overall, the Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Hawthorne is a solid choice for travelers looking for convenience near the airport. The friendly staff, clean rooms, and excellent dining options make it a comfortable place to stay. However, improvements in soundproofing and Wi-Fi speed would enhance the overall experience.
JJosephWOW....THIS IS A GREAT PLACE......AND CHEAP!!! We wanted to be close by the Catalina Express and also the NCL Cruise ship as we are doing both.... The host here is very friendly....we arrived 3 hours early so she let us put our bags in the office and she gave us some great food ideas....so we ate lunch and then went on the USS Iowa moored just a mile away....WOW WHAT A GREAT SHIP TOUR......well worth the price....took us about 3 hours.......A LYFT one way is less than $10 or you can take the city bus,,,but the wait is about 45 mins....Cab is just over $10..........This place is so clean and well taken care of and seems to be very quiet.....The neighborhood is full of places to eat....I dont think the neighborhood is to bad either,,,,use common sense as always and stay on the main streets and I bet you will be O.K.
Ddown to earthDid a last minute booking. Well worth the value. Near the LAX airport and there is a free shuttle to/fro airport - there is no need to reserve. Just go to the correct berth and wait for it. The room is well appointed and great for a good night sleep before flying out again the next morning. Breakfast was ok and much appreciated.
