Fireside Inn

Brand new motel/inn, I quute liked the memory foam mattress and they went for quality in the bathroom linens, quute nice to see! Staff was very friendly and they pride themselves on how clean and sanitized they keep everything. Only about a 2min drive to restaurants and shopping and 5 min walk to the beach. The rooms are quite spacious. All in all a nice stay to our weekend getaway.

This little inn is so cozy and cute! It was super clean and quiet (the man that checked us in told us that they change all the bed linens, even the mattress pad after every stay). Staff was above and beyond friendly and even showed us to and around our room. This property is basically brand new and decorated so cute as well! I LOVE the wall tiles and art that is displayed. The beds were a little hard for me but they are memory foam and I’m a small person and don’t compress them like a normal size person would (so not the property’s fault). The front door is code access only so it also felt super safe as well. I definitely would stay here again.

I needed a reasonably priced room while on the Peninsula to help family with packing. This property is newer and was perfect for everything that I needed. Thank you!

We made a quick stop over the holidays and it was a total respite from the road. Staff was courteous and helpful too.

I just love this place. I had a hiccup with the after - hours access, but the staff resolved it quickly. I had forgotten that each room had a fireplace/extra heater. Makes the room feel so cozy. There's a beach pathway just to the southwest. I explored it in time to catch a gorgeous sunset.

This was one the cleanest hotels I have stayed at. We have paid way more and places were not as clean. Front desk was very helpful. We will definitely stay if in the area again.

Check in was a breeze with a very nice and capable property manager! Room was large, clean, nicely appointed and had everything we needed. Nice large shower too!

This place is quite new so everything is shiny, fresh and clean. The sheets and towels are top quality. Bed linens are washed down to the mattress after each guest, which I really appreciate. We had a King room, street side at the south end of the building. We were there mid-week in November so I can't speek to soundproofing between rooms- we had the enitre place to ourselves 2 of the 3 nights. You may want to request a room on the back side of the hotel if you like to sleep with the window open because there is some street noise. Each room has a wall "fireplace" that is more of a space heater with "virtual" flames. It was kind of fun and did throw off some heat. There is also a thermostat controlled wall heater but no AC. The bed was a soft memory foam type with 2 different types of pillows to pick from. The continental b'fast was as good as you could expect without any fresh cooked options. Cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit cups, hard boiled eggs, fruit cups, granola bars, pastries, toast and english muffins with jam, butter or peanut butter. Coffee was available 24 hours. They have a small outdoor patio with a wood fire pit and a gas fire pit, benches and picnic tables. They run a skeleton crew during the off season so b'fast wasn't always set out right on time, but all the staff was very friendly and eager to serve. Cleanliness, value and location make this a great addition to the Long Beach hotel choices.
