We stayed at the Residen last week(5th Nov) We had booked 2 apartments, one being the penthouse. Normal check-in is 4pm but we had a show to get to at 5.30pm, so we arranged beforehand to arrive a little earlier and check-in at approx. 2pm. We spoke to the building manager 3days prior, and also on the morning of our arrival, to confirm our early check-in. The building manager assured us it was absolutely fine and both apartments would be ready at 2pm. When we arrived at approx. 2.30pm one of the apartments was ready, but the penthouse was not. This was not a huge issue initially as we were happy to wait in the first apartment for a short while. Unfortunately, the second apartment was not cleaned, or ready for us to enter until 5pm. An hour after the normal check-in time! The cleaning staff were polite and fine, the manager was not onsite - so harder to deal wtih, but we wanted the issue addressed afterwards. The manager assured us someone would contact us about the lateness of the room. We are still trying and waiting for someone to get in touch! It's very disapointing in terms of the service we have recieved. We were late to our booking, as we only got into our apartment at 5pm! It's just not what you expect from a professional and competent business. If they decide to get back in touch, we shall update our review.
