Very satisfied with a hotel, worthy of this price. When I made a mistake at the time of booking, I saw that the room information showed that the facilities for the disabled were provided, and I didn’t think about it. I found that it was a special room for the disabled. It was really embarrassing. . . Before the check-in, the hotel contacted me via Ctrip and asked me about my check-in time. My answer may arrive at noon, which will be far earlier than the hotel's check-in time. The reply will be arranged according to the situation on the day. On the day of the check-in, we arrived at the hotel around 11:00 and they were all ready. Thank you very much! The hotel was originally remodeled by the bank and opened only last year, new and atmospheric. There are seven or eight restaurants in the hotel lobby, and the taste is comprehensive. Geographically, it is located in the downtown area, walking close to the hotels around the Thames, and next to the subway station. The decor of the room is completely classic British style, the details are carefully polished, very special and very like. There are no less than 20 kinds of bath products, which is extremely luxurious. I saw a comment on the book saying that the sound of the music downstairs was noisy, but the actual experience was completely unrecognizable. The sound insulation of the window was well done. The sound of the door next door was noisy. This may be the only fly in the ointment.

On arrival at the hotel we were greeted at reception and check in was smooth. We then entered our hotel room and it all went downhill. One of the pillows was filthy and we had to ask for it to be changed. After using the toilet we found that it did not flush, we told reception and we were informed this was a common problem. We then went out for the evening to see a show and on arriving back we found that there weren't any curtains in the room just a strip of material on a runner to pull across the window. The material only covered about 2/3 of the window which didn't provide much privacy from the building opposite and let too much light in. Myself and my partner both showered that evening and were almost scolded by the water. We were unable to turn the temperature down low enough. We then discovered that when cleaning our teeth there wasn't any cold water in the tap. Just a drip. We complained again. After a late night we were glad to sleep and not have to get up early. How wrong we were! At 8:15 the following morning we were both still asleep when there was a knock at the door. I woke my boyfriend and told him to go to the door. On opening it there was a woman stood there saying ”check out!” We said not yet and she just kept repeating ”Check out.” We asked what time check out was and she replied that she didn't speck English. We shut the door and checked on our booking which said check out was midday! We were incredibly cross that we had been disturbed and complained yet again when we went down to reception. As an apology we were offered a free breakfast. It was the worst breakfast, Very few cooked items available, most warming dishes were empty, no bread for toast and no pastries. No wonder they gave it away free! All in all a disastrous stay in an awful hotel. We will not be returning.

Hilton London Bankside

We had to stay one night in London and chose the London Hilton Bankside because it is a really clean, comfortable and quiet hotel. With gym room and swimming pool which is perfect to relax after a busy day. I would recommend this hotel regarding price for what you got is really good.
Mercure London Bridge

Spacious room and bed was really comfy. Air conditioning didn't work well and we could not lower the temperature in the room which made it stuffy. The bathroom was very tired looking and really needed a refurb. We ordered some room service at 11pm as we were late checking in first night. The menu literally consisted if 2 items. We ordered a panini which was disgustingly bad. We expected more choice and certainly better quality. We complained and the hotel agreed to refund us but still waiting for the refund almost 6 weeks after. Breakfast was really good and made the most of this to make up for the poor food the night before hand. Its buffet style also which is great if you are proper hungry.. Staff were pleasant and helpful, just not sure about the security guys at the front door who look like they don't want to be there and struggle to even say hello, which we felt was very odd.. My review is neutral, we've stayed in much nicer places in London around the same price.
Premier Inn London Southwark (Southwark Station)
4.5/542 Reviews
My 4 nights at Premier Inn Southwark cost me £549 which was not expensive for London but also not cheap generally. I arrived very early before 9am and requested early check-in even if that was 11am. I was told none available nor could I go on a waiting list or be called if one became available. All I could do was hang around at reception in the hope one would turn up. Such a waste of time having set off at 4am to get a full day's work in. The room had one hand towel and one bath towel. When I asked for 2 more I was grudgingly given them but told I was only supposed to have 2 per day. Seriously? The rooms don't always get made up or bins emptied even when you ask. Supposedly this is to save the environment. The wifi was too slow to be useable in any way unless you paid an extra £15 for ”high speed” wifi which wasn't very high speed. The TV remote control didn't work. No phone in the room to contact reception Carpet in the room needed replaced, quite grubby. Overall décor drab At reception there was a display of toiletries on a table, most of which were Tampax. These were available for guests which was helpful but it didn't do a lot for first impressions having them piled up. There was little courtesy or welcome at reception
Novotel London Blackfriars

It was our first time in London. End of August, almost all hotels are busy. It was important for us to find a hotel in a convenient location. at a reasonable price. And the choice fell on Novotel London Blackfriars Intuition did not fail us. From arrival to departure everything was top notch. Location is very convenient The room is big enough Very clean great view of the city from the window. Service at a high level Metro and buses nearby you can walk to many attractions. A minute walk from the hotel there is a Cut street with many cafes and restaurants in the evening it is very pleasant and tasty to sit there. But the best part is the hotel staff. who helped and cared for everything. I would like to especially note Alberto Biollino for His patience and desire to help. Next time in London we will stay again in I recommend Michael
