I stayed in Qikou Town and found this cheap place with cave house and kang. The room was very clean and spacious. The temperature in the cave house was very comfortable, warm in winter and cool in summer. The big kang was very comfortable to sleep on, more comfortable than a bed. His family also set up a stall in the town during the day. The boss and his family would boil oil and chili in the yard early in the morning. The bowl holders and cold noodles they sold were cheap and delicious, especially great!

The room is simple but clean. The boss is also very enthusiastic. The lady who explains Lijiashan is very warm and cute. I ordered one for 30 yuan to experience it. The Yellow River carp is 180 yuan per catty, and one is more than 2.5 catties. It is expensive, but it tastes good.

The boss was very nice and helped me with my luggage. I also asked him to take me to Lijiashan Village, which is the normal fee here (¥50 round trip). He also suggested that I not go to the Yellow River Baili Gallery, because I was alone and didn’t do calculations, which was very thoughtful, and I was really considerate. But I didn’t listen to him, so I hired his car to go there (¥100 round trip). He also told me that there is a shared bus from Qikou back to the monument in Luliang, which costs ¥20 per person, which is ¥5 more expensive than the minibus, but you don’t have to wait that long.
