Main asset of this lodge is its location, inside Cotopaxi Park and with full view from everywhere in the lodge on the volcano. Walking, horse riding and trips by car can be organised. Food is quite good, as well as internet connection (latter not available in Park).

We stopped for lunch arguably didn’t stay at the hotel. The restaurant is in the middle of no where and looks sketchy. However what a great dining experience at the volcano!! If you are in the park please stop there for food. The inside is cute and rustic. Staff and service was exceptional. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. It’s not gourmet but we loved it as delicious rustic in an isolated area. We were wonderfully impressed by the experience

This lodge is gorgeous. It’s in the national park - the scenery is unreal. We even saw wild horses. The staff is incredibly sweet and the food was yummy. The lodge was very clean, too! Very impressed and cannot wait to return! Keep in mind that if you’re staying here to acclimate, you’ll most likely be put in the dorm style room.

Best place we stayed in Ecuador and an ideal base for exploring the National park. Beautiful views of Cotopaxi. Excellent food overall and very good accommodation - we stayed in the newer building with lovely big rooms and wood burning stoves. Highly recommended.

The location with the dirct view to the Cotopaxi is breathtaking. The rooms are very tidy and the meals are excellent. Moreover the staff is very friendly and helpful. We would have loved to stay longer.

Our guide brought us here for a lunch, food was really good and there was lots of it in a warm and welcoming place. Would be a great hotel to acclimatise for anyone climbing Cotopaxi or surrounding peaks, at 4,200m its just about high enough as a base. For anyone doing a private tour in Cotopaxi National Park then this is a great place to eat.

We arrived looking for camping as it is said for this place, and after arriving they told us with bad manners and without further explanation that they didn't have camping anymore, and almost pushed us out of the place telling us to move on, showing no empathy at all. Even if they were full they didn't even bother to offer us a cabin, which shows extremely poor customer service. Personal opinion is that they have their vip guest profile and if you don't fit it they don't care. Can't recommend this place. We checked before making this post and they do advertise camping as available in their own website.
