Very clean hostel and surprisingly quiet, I had very good night sleep without any need of earplugs. Great location within walking distance of city centre, XiGuan and the famous Zhongshan Bridge is just a stone's throw away. Would definitely go back to stay if I'm back to Lanzhou again.

Amazing hospitable staff and owner! Live music performance daily. Great hostel environment! When taking the guestroom - single occupant you get a whole room for yourself (small, but your own). Not the normal hostel style and basically it is like a hotel room. Just a bit smaller and shared bathroom / showers. Truly a hidden gem (see the entrance photo). Not to forget, great location! Right next to the Yellow River Bridge! Ans next to Xiguan metro, just a few stops from West Railway on line 1, which is perfect if coming from the airport.

It is a good location, but it is very difficult to find, as it is hidden in courtyards. No one speaks English, there was no lock on the door of the room (it's hard to call it a room, it's a capsule to sleep in, there's a mattress on the floor, there's no hanger or chair to put things, clothes), no one responded to the request to give it. The toilet and shower are not divided into male and female. In the morning there was an early departure, at 6:00 the reception was closed, the key had to be left on the table, opening the window. Suitable for an overnight stay, no more

Perfect hostel - rooms are clean, staff are friendly, bathrooms are also clean and functional. One comment - the only “western toilets” are the ones reserved for females. Otherwise, the location is unbeatable and perfect for all sightseeing.

The place is great and the owner is so friendly, helping me so much. I went to colorful moutain with shared car of hostel - 50 yaun for return way and can saw sunset there. Great. Thanks so much. Just some small thing: dont have paper in toilet and any soap for washing hand ....

I highly recommend this place however if you are staying in a dorm room some tenants are not considerate of others and playing loud audio during 23:00 to 3:00am time. Perhaps try the tatami or the solo one to avoid this kind of sleep disturbances. Good hospitality by the staff and the cute dog.
