I loved my stay at Hualuxe. I was able to talk to them through wechat before coming to confirm Covid-19 testing policies. The service was great, he hotel was clean, and the grounds are beautiful! The staff was very helpful and assisted me in booking a car to visit the Stone Forest. The location is far from the city. I loved being close to the lake and walked there a few times. Overall, it was a great stay!

We were in Kunming only 2 nights and wanted to stay close to the Dianchi. You cannot beat this location: it’s right across the street from the lake. We used the city bike next to the hotel to ride around. We were probably the only foreigners that weekend but the staff was wonderful. I called a couple of days prior our stay and get their wechat contact so it was easier to communicate. Chen Haijiao (Emma) was really helpful the whole stay. She answered all my questions about Covid regulations, found a driver to go to the stone forest, booked another one to get to the the train station,… The room was spotless, beautiful and the breakfast buffet, mainly Chinese, was good too. The hotel is located next to the sport center and we get free access to the indoor committee pool. There is a kids friendly and swimming pool.
