Hotels with bar in Kunming

Excellent resort style hotel in the heart of Kunming.. Room was clean, spacious and well appointed. Service was also excellent and attentive. Would highly recommend if staying in Kunming.

Very friendly and attentive staff going the extra-mile. Hotel rooms are great and beds super comfortable. Modern hotel with a bar on the top-floor that provides a fantastic view over the city. Can absolutely recommend.

You'd want to stay here for the location, just northwest of the hotel is a street with a bunch of breweries and restaurants, including Salvadors, an American-opened restaurant/pub that all the foreigners go to and has a great vibe for someone looking for a more lovely atmosphere and solid Western food. The hotel is on the north side of cuihu lake which is nice to walk around and also hosts Yunnan University, though you need to register thru a qr code to enter the university. Hotel room itself was quite small but fair for its price. Citigo is like a boutique small office hotel, there's a meeting room downstairs you can book for meetings or just work out of, and a small bar/cafe you can order drinks from. At night around ten? Or eleven pm they serve Yunnanese noodles. Lounge area outside the hotel lobby is large and overlooks the lake, nice spot for remote workers like me and you can grab some beers from the bar. Would definitely use for my next visit to Kunming, largely for the location which can't be beat.

It’s a very cool hostel, super stylish and rooms a great. Staff at reception was alright, some much more helpful than others. Bar and rooftop are super enjoyable and well decorated. Breakfast was good. For those with kids/a bit older/or with respiratory issues: Only thing to note is that there is street food just down the hostel (which is awesome of course) but one of the truck is very very smoky, unfortunately it is just under the rooms looking down the street so impossible to open windows in the room because the smoke makes it difficult to breath. So it gets very warm in the room even in Autumn when we visited. We gave a heads up to reception who told us that’s it’s a known issue. Except this detail, everything else is pretty great.

The Lakeview Hotel is in a great location, directly opposite Haigeng Park, the core scenic spot, and only a dozen steps away. The hotel's hot spring is on the third floor, which is a garden and a hot spring. Special praise should be given to the young men who were responsible for driving the electric car to pick up and drop off guests in the two days before and after. One of them is Jiaze Luru, and the other’s name was not asked. These two young men not only drove the car smoothly, safely and quickly, but also had first-class driving skills. Very warm and considerate, the car arrived very quickly, and the attitude was very warm and kind. They worked hard and never complained. They drove a long distance and always served with a smile. These two young men and the girl in charge of the hot spring are very good hotel employees and do a great job. It also proves that the hotel’s team leadership and work quality are very effective!

The hostel is super nice and the staff is excellent. Location is also good, close to a metro station and to the park. The in-house restaurant is also great and very cheap so it is a perfect one stop for everyone travelling in the city. Recommend.

When you arrive at the store, you will be given flower cakes, hot towels, and tea. The flower cakes are especially delicious. I was careless when I booked the hotel. I saw that there were benefits such as check-in 4 hours in advance, check-out until 2 pm, fruits, room upgrades, etc. I didn’t check these benefits. The system checked one of them by default for me. When the housekeeper confirmed the rights, the housekeeper couldn't see the rights I mentioned in the backend, but still let me check in early. I arrived at about 10 o'clock in the morning. I then checked with the housekeeper to see if it was unchecked and the answer was, yes, it is necessary. Check. When I returned home after playing in the evening, I saw that fruit had been delivered to me at check-in, as well as sugar water. In fact, when eating out, you can’t mix meat and vegetables like at home, so fruit is very important. Thank you Guyu Butler for preparing extra fruit for me. Regarding breakfast, it is very delicious. There is a takeaway box for take away. The portion is really sufficient. I read a lot about it in the comment area before. I thought that the two girls might not be able to finish it if they ordered two portions, so I just ordered the second meal. I ordered fruits, hand cakes, fried eggs, and braised chicken and rice noodles. The soup was probably real chicken soup, and it was so delicious. I finished it all and was so hung up that I could walk on the wall. A friend of mine who was traveling with me was unable to meet me at the hotel I booked at the transit station for some reason. She arrived at the train station the next morning. I brought her some non-spillable food to the train station. The toiletries provided in the room are also very high-end and high-end. There is an air purifier. The disposable slippers are very thick and will last for half a month. They are estimated to be worth 10 yuan a pair. I have no use for the slippers, so I keep them. Used it for taking the train. The shampoo, shower gel, and body lotion smell great. The 20-30 yuan for this set is definitely worth it. You can also drink Starbucks for free in the lobby, and you can also get free mineral water. These 20-30 yuan are also worth it. ! There are two bottles of mineral water in the room, drinks in the refrigerator, and snacks are all free. The drinks and snacks in the room are definitely worth 20-30. The bedding also feels clean and hygienic, so the house price is not expensive at all. Although the room is not big, it must have not been upgraded! Anyway, I just wanted to sleep at night and didn't care. I didn't ask the housekeeper if there was an upgrade, but it was enough. The decoration style is in line with my aesthetic taste, especially the washbasin looks high-end and classy. The white countertop looks very clean. The only drawback is that the TV cabinet looks stained and there is also scale on the shower floor. It should be cleaned with water and floor cleaning fluid. Can't be washed off. Regarding the location of the hotel, the hotel is in the suburbs and close to the train station. Online taxis cost 21 yuan and are about 10 kilometers away from Yuantong Mountain. I went to see the cherry blossoms because I didn’t know the location, so I took a taxi to the back door and it cost 41 yuan. The return trip It only costs 10 yuan to book a ride online. The hotel is located in a retro pedestrian street. The environment is very good. The housekeeper will drive a battery car to pick up and drop off guests. You can take pictures in the pedestrian street. You can finish shopping in half a day. On the day you arrived, you could eat at a store called (Dian Pu) near the hotel. The rice, I thought it was Yunnan cuisine. When I went in and looked at the menu, the dishes could be eaten anywhere. They had no special characteristics and the taste was average. I don’t recommend it. There is a Yunnan specialty restaurant diagonally opposite Dianpu. I heard that it is hot and sour. It tastes very good and the price is very affordable. If you want to eat special dishes, you can try it.

I had a very nice stay at this hotel. It is beautifully decorated and very clean. The room was super comfortable with the small balcony overlooking the Flower and Birds Market. The hotel is in a good location, a short walk from the Ancient city and the subway line that goes to the airport. The staff was friendly and nice.

Front desk was kind and accommodating. The room, though small, was well-designed and extremely cozy. The rooftop breakfast lounge and bar was a welcome escape from the business of downtown Kunming. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to the city.

This hotel is in an absolutely great location. It’s vibey and full of vibrancy. The rooms are a little in the small side but that okay. The shower was great! Loved the welcome fruit. The breakfast didn’t have much for vegetarian eaters. But it was great that it was till 12:30. Overall great hotel! With a nice artsy vibe and a great skybar view and swimming pool. Downside was none of the staff spoke English. For an international chain this was shocking .
