3 Star Hotels in Kumamoto

Great value for what we have paid for. Efficient check-in process. High quality public bath facilities with two hot hot springs (one indoor and one outdoor), one sauna and one cold water pool. Although this hotel is listed as a 3-star hotel, we would say it is much better than many 4-star hotels in many regards. The employees at the check-in desk speak decent English too.

The guy at the front desk was very nice and could speak Chinese. It was very close to Mizusenji Temple and they gave me discount coupons. Opposite was 711 and next to it was a large supermarket with a wide variety of food. You can buy some to take with you to a picnic under the cherry blossoms.

A lovely hotel to stay in close to Kumamoto Castle. The rooms are nice and clean with friendly staff who are very helpful. Bath areas on the 12th floor are also quite nice and have a range of offerings inside. Breakfast was included with the price we paid, however, all the food was a little tasteless, if paying for breakfast, it is easy to go downstairs and get something but I’d probably go somewhere else if paying.

A good hotel for a night's stay for the price. Especially recommended for travelers who want to visit Kumamoto Castle. You can walk across the street right in front and approach Kumamoto Castle. You can see Kumamoto Castle directly from the room, but you need to be on the 4th floor or higher. If you are assigned to the 4th floor, it is adjacent to the restaurant, so it can be a bit crowded. Kumamoto Castle is also partially obscured by the hotel roof, so some rooms do not have a complete view of the castle, so be careful.

The hotel is 500 meters away from the Sakuratei bus terminal. It is very convenient to take a bus to Kumamoto and go to the hotel at the Sakuratei bus terminal. The hotel is in the commercial district, so you can go to eat and go shopping anytime. The room size is OK, it doesn't feel particularly small, and the hotel has free breakfast.

Good location, 2 minute walk to Sakuramachi Bus Station for long distance bus or city bus and also near tram station for city roaming. The kumamoto is easily accessed with a 10 minute walk. The room size and amenities are standard and clean.

5 minutes walk from Sakuramachi Bus Terminal? It's inside Sunroad, so it was nice that I could go around without an umbrella even though it rained. There's a Seven at the entrance of Sunroad, so I was able to withdraw cash on the way to my accommodation, and there's a Family Mart next to the hotel. There's a Starbucks and a McDonald's to the left of the entrance, and there's another large Seven. There's also Ichiran on the way to Don Quijote, and if you go down a little further from Donki toward Tsuruya, there's a COCOSA B1 supermarket that's open until 11 p.m. It was my first time in Kumamoto, but the location was really good, and it was easy to get to Kumamoto Station by bus terminal platform 3 or by tram. I left around 8:30 on the day I went home, went to Kumamoto Medical Center, went to Kumamoto Castle at 9 a.m., and looked around the 6th floor of the castle tower and came down to Sakuramachi. Checkout was at 11 a.m., so I was able to check out at 10:20 a.m. with plenty of time. If I visit Kumamoto again, I think I'll stay here. Location, cleanliness, and kindness are all perfect. It's a shame that there is no hot spring in the facility, but the advantages make up for it^^
