Hotel Pudu Plaza Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur|1.27km from Pavilion Kuala Lumpur
The front desk of the hotel is very kind and you can speak clean English normally, so you don't have to worry about communication. At the front desk, he taught me how to use the taxi app-grab and how to make a reservation. Thanks to that, all the movement was grab and easy. It was about 6 minutes walk from LaLaport, close to Central Market and Bukit Bintang by taxi. You can drink 500 PET bottles of water, tea and instant coffee every day in the room. The room also has a refrigerator. I chilled the mango I bought and ate it. However, be careful as toilet paper and bath towels may not be changed unless they are told. There is a supermarket in the building where you can use your credit card, and it is convenient to have canned beer, dry mangoes, nuts, etc. The exchange office in the building is vacant except on Sundays. Clothing is sold on the second floor of the supermarket, but for some reason there were many men's items. There were multiple massage shops on the 1st and 2nd floors, and I went there every day comfortably. In front of the hotel, there are many Chinese restaurants and it is crowded with locals. Fruits are also sold and retailed, and there. I had them eat rambutan, dragon fruit, etc. (Because you can't bring mangostin to the hotel) Right next to the hotel is the icc market, and if you get tired of the hotel rice, you can eat delicious rice here, and local clothes in the basement of this building (light and easy to wear) Is sold cheaply. I want to stay again because the location is excellent.

The Bed Bukit Bintang – Capsule Hotel

Title: ”Affordable Comfort with a Backpacker Vibe: Review of The Bed Bukit Bintang – Capsule Hotel” Review: My recent stay at The Bed Bukit Bintang – Capsule Hotel left me with mixed feelings, as I opted for the King Suite Pod. While the concept of a capsule hotel intrigued me, I was somewhat surprised to find that the King Suite Pod did not come equipped with its own shower or toilet facilities. Instead, guests are required to share communal facilities, a factor that may not suit those accustomed to more traditional hotel accommodations. That being said, The Bed Bukit Bintang does offer a clean and well-maintained environment. The capsule itself was comfortable and provided a cozy space for relaxation after a day of exploring the bustling streets of Kuala Lumpur. The shared facilities were also kept tidy, contributing to a pleasant overall experience. However, it's essential to note that this hotel caters more to travelers familiar with hostel or backpacker-style accommodations. For those seeking a more private and exclusive experience, The Bed Bukit Bintang may not be the ideal choice. In conclusion, The Bed Bukit Bintang – Capsule Hotel offers affordable comfort with a distinct backpacker vibe. While the lack of private facilities may deter some guests, those open to the communal living experience will appreciate the cleanliness and convenience this hotel has to offer.

Novotel Kuala Lumpur City Centre

Really pretty hotel, with all around friendly & lovely staff. Location is also extremely comvenient for wherever you have to get to in KL, plenty of shopping/food nearby. The gym & pool were also great. The breakfast buffet had a variety of Chinese/Malay/Indian/Western cuisine & also had some vegetarian or gluten free options! Some highlights are the dessert/pastry section with a honeycomb for you to use real honey & their salad bar uses fresh greens grown by the hotel. While I can't say all of the food was good, you have enough choice to find something you'll love. Most of the hotel was very clean, however my main issue was that a lot of the plates/bowls/cups, etc at the breakfast buffet were really dirty. Some had scratches from years of usage however, some had patches of oil/food that wasn't cleaned off properly... Not sure if that is always the case or just during my 3 day stay. My family also found it rather dirty and some other hotel guests would also comment on it. That was the only thing ruining the good breakfast buffet they had. Finally, while the room was certainly pretty clean... As someone who has dust allergies, staying in the room for the first night triggered my allergies very badly. It was highly likely either the carpet or aircon as this persisted in areas like the hotel lobby cafe or breakfast area. Thankfully the staff were very kind & came to do housekeeping upon my family mentioning that I had allergies after the 1st night & it was slightly better in the room for the remainder of our stay. So unless there are other guests that are sensitive to dust or have dust allergies, its still a really clean and comfortable room! Definitely recommend Novotel if you find yourself unaffected by those issues as its a pretty good place to stay! :)

The staff whether front line or room attendants all are friendly and greet us with a smile. Even the technician listened to our problem and solved it instantly. Location is very convenient except that area is always jam. So advise the travellers to set at least 2 hrs in advance for booking transport to airport because from hotel to airport needs 1 hr 20 mins. That timing excluded any jam in the city area.

Check in check out was hassle free, the reception is always at the lobby to greet u even thou reception of the 16th floor. Only the parking its a bit trouble of the 9th floor, total 18 floors, as every level is A and B level. The room is very well maintained and housekeeping is well done. The mattress quality was great and no backache after waking up 👍 The staff are very polite and always greeted guest with warm welcome. The service is excellent. Definitely will come again and again.

The process of check-in and check-out was smooth and fast. I was greeted by a staff, given a welcome gift and a card. That’s nice. The room was cleaned twice a day during our stay. But the bathtub was not cleaned when the cleaner came. Food variety at breakfast was well served but the staff who was at the egg station making omelets on the 26th of December) was unfriendly. He seemed exhausted. Overall, the stay was average.

The room was lovely, well decorated and laid out, and the bed was huge and the mattress comfortable. The pillows were just right - THANK YOU! The central bedside console for controlling the lights and aircon was nifty, though we couldn't work out how to totally dim it at night so had to throw a towel over it. The aircon had several modes which worked really well. All the room anenities were just right - iron, fridge stocked with drinks, gowns, welcoming bowl of fruit. The hotel gave us 3 free pieces of laundry daily, which was very usefulnand much appreciated. The laundry service was expensive - unfortunately par for the course for most hotels - but Hello Laundry, conveniently down the road, offered an excellent alternative service. Free breakfast was included, and the fare was simply amazing (see pics). There was something for everyone, you won't leave feeling hungry! Many chefs were busy preparing right in front of you, the waitstaff buzzed around like bees, and the head chef and manager were ever present. Great personal service, not a single person made us feel unwelcome. The check in service was fluid and welcoming, and the concierge and doormen helpful. Overall, a great stay.

Kuala Lumpur Travel Essentials

Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is your main entry point, boasting top-notch facilities and an efficient Express Rail Link (ERL) service that takes you straight to the city centre. The city primarily uses the Malaysian Ringgit for transactions, and credit cards are widely accepted. While Bahasa Malaysia is the national language, English is commonly spoken in business and tourist areas, making it easy for international travellers.

As for visa requirements, always check the latest information with your local Malaysian embassy or consulate. Generally, nationals from various countries are allowed to enter Malaysia without a visa for tourism purposes.

Kuala Lumpur enjoys a tropical rainforest climate, where sunshine and showers can happen in the same day. Temperatures in KL usually range from 22°C to 33°C. While the city is ideal to visit year-round, the best times are from May to July and December to February when rainfall is minimal. It's advisable to pack lightweight clothing, a raincoat or umbrella, and comfortable shoes for city exploration.
