Maverick Motel - Modern Renovated Motel
3.6/5100 Reviews
Our room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Just looking for a place to put our heads for the night and this was fine. Appreciated that the fridge had a freezer. Friendly and helpful person at check in. Located in the downtown area. Oldie but goodie but we would stay here again.

a nice small motel in a convenient area of Klamath Falls. the staff was friendly and the room was clean, simple, and in good condition. what more can you ask from a budget motel? the doughnut shop across the street is amazing.
Cimarron Inn Klamath Falls

We stayed here 1 night as it was close to crater lake national park and we were on a road trip to there from SF. We stayed due to TripAdvisor ratings and it didn’t disappoint. We just turned up and booked same day. Staff were helpful. The room was a good size and was warm, nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and sleep quality is excellent. Shower and bathroom were great. The hotel is close to shops and restaurants and was very quiet. Free parking and breakfast was good with a nice variety of options. Would stay again happily.
Fairfield Inn & Suites Klamath Falls

The rooms on the back overlooking the lake are nice because there are a lot of waterfowl to observe. The pool is small but warm enough for a swim. The hotel breakfast was extensive. The room is large and bathroom nice. I hate the newer Marriott mattresses as they are very soft and unsupportive for my spine and I have trouble sleeping well on them. There is a super-annoying blinking light on some device on the ceiling over the bed, which seems to have a motion detector as it blinks faster when you move around or get up in the dark. It may be attached to the a/c which I always turn off at night. There's also a bright-ish light on the remote control unit for the automatic blinds. Bring a sleep mask or throw a black t-shirt over your eyes to sleep here if you're sensitive to lights. The staff was very good.
Cerulean Hotel

This was expensive for what it is. I'm not sure what it is trying to be - crossed between a hotel and a motel, but not really either. Check in was painfully slow, just one lady on reception and they have a complicated system with their door codes where they use you're phone number but the lady has to do that then show you how it works, the lady ahead of me couldn't get hers to work so the receptionist had to them leave everyone in reception to go and let her in. The room was clean and tidy, I'd say it was a motel room at a hotel price. Not really in the best location for being near things, but that's not their fault. A pretty neutral experience really.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Klamath Falls Central

Hubs and I DID NOT have a good experience at the Holiday Inn Express in Klamath Falls. The item that could change immediately was the attitude of the front desk clerk. When I arrived to check in at about 4:30, there was no one in the lobby. After what seemed like an eternity (actually about 5 minutes), the clerk appeared. Did she apologize for keeping me waiting? No. Did she even greet me? No. Did she even bother to smile? For a third time, NO. Instead she grumbled ”Checking in?” I was tempted to be snarky and say ”Nope. I just hang around hotel lobbys all day and annoy their staff.” But instead, I checked in and proceeded to go up to the room. Another complaint not so easily rectified: the location of their accessible rooms. THIRD floor. Two thirds of the way down the corridor away from the elevator. My mobility challenged husband had a hard time maneuvering his walker through the lobby to the elevator lobby and then down the carpeted hallway to the room. I wonder what would happen in the case of an emergency? Also, the room was no bigger than a non-accessible room. Really difficult to maneuver with a walker. In short, the hotel needs to train the front desk clerk and remind her that she is the first impression of the hotel. Secondly, if you are mobility challenged, choose another hotel.
