Rooms are big, but old. No aircon control. Can’t get a room that hasn’t been smoked in heavily. Good location. Food is good. Very traditional. Japanese people seem to flock in. Staff are helpful, individually. Try somewhere else else would be my advice.

Good base for exploring area. Rooms are huge with great views. Kaseki dining in-room was excellent. Large indoor and small outdoor onsen provided variety. Helpful staff given we were probably the only non-Japanese staying there.

This place is a nightmare. The room is big, twin beds, old useless furniture, both western and Japanese, which is weird. I’ve never seen a hotel bathroom so old and small in my life. The onsen looks dirty and obsolete. This is all unfortunate because the area around and hiking is amazing.

There were so many types of dinner buffet, I was so happy! And it was delicious! Yakiniku, hotpot, and kamameshi are available for one person, so each person prepares and eats at the table. For shabu-shabu, there is a clay pot, so you can enjoy shabu-shabu and then bring it to your seat. The sashimi and tuna were fresh and delicious. The breakfast had a wide variety and was all delicious. There was also a wide variety of shops, but thanks to the coronavirus tourism support coupons, the items in the shops were selling well, and many items were out of stock. I had quite a few items that I wanted, so I would have been happy if they would replenish them frequently. I would love to visit you again.

My mother and I stayed here. The staff at this hotel was very responsive. The person at the front desk was very kind and explained the situation thoroughly, and the staff member who greeted us comfortably in front of the elevator was also visible. When I got off the elevator for dinner, a staff member ran up to me from a distance and guided me to the dining hall. The kaiseki dinner for dinner was a huge feast, so much so that I couldn't finish it all. The room was very spacious and I was able to relax. Unfortunately, the toilet, bath, and washroom were all in the same room. I had no choice but to use that water to boil the water in the pot. It was nice to have free wifi. The hot springs were also very pleasant. The staff at the store were also very welcoming.

This is a typical large hot spring hotel. It has been a long time since it was built, but it is kept fairly clean. The food is also good. I think it can be difficult for elderly people to go up and down the stairs when taking a bath. It is far from the hot spring town.

The response from the staff at the facility was very good. The hot springs and sauna were good. Although it can't be helped due to the location, it was inconvenient that the open-air bath and bath were not connected. Although I had cleaned the room, the tatami mats were old and just because I had placed my clothes on them, the tatami mats were covered in debris.

We exchanged emails in advance regarding the pick-up service. Even if it was difficult to respond in terms of time, he presented an alternative plan and I was impressed with his sincere response. Even when I left my luggage before check-in, it was smooth, and I was impressed with the thorough handover until check-out. I can only thank you for telling me the tourist attractions when I was sent to the airport and stopping by.

Thank you very much for accommodating us even though we were in a large group including family members! The room was also nice and clean.

We stayed here on a Trapics tour. It was a large hotel, but due to the influence of the corona virus, there were only two group travel groups, so I was able to spend a relaxing time. Dinner was a buffet style, but I was grateful for the unprecedented facilities and received a variety of things. The unusual equipment is that you can have your own yakiniku restaurant shabu-shabu. Set a pot for one person by yourself, put solid fuel in it, put ingredients in it, and it's complete. The meat was beef, pork, and chicken, and it was soft and delicious. Also, you can make your own shabu-shabu, so meat lovers will be irresistible. The hotel rooms are large, with both Japanese and Western rooms, and the beds are large and comfortable.

It was a shame that the air conditioning equipment was old and I couldn't adjust the room temperature to my liking, but the staff's customer service attitude was so pleasant that it made up for it.

My family and I booked 4 Japanese-Western rooms and stayed there. I was saved because I was able to stay at a cheap price. I had a child with food allergies, but they took care of everything and I was able to stay there without worrying. I would like to stay there again if I have the chance.

I stayed here on a JTB tour. It was a large hotel with many individual travelers as well as group tours. The room was on a high floor with a good view, and from the balcony I could see the mountains of Osumi Peninsula from Sakurajima. I think the scenery at dusk and dawn is wonderful if the weather is good. Only the table for meals is designated for each room for tour guests, but the meal itself is a buffet, so you have to prepare it yourself. There are many solid fuel stoves, and you will need several for steamed rice, yakiniku hot pot, and nabemono. There are not many local products, and it is a pity that many of them are cold because they are arranged on a large plate. However, if you use the stove to re-grill the yakitori or re-steam it with rice, it will be delicious. Kirishima Onsen has a large amount of hot spring water, so you can enjoy abundant hot springs flowing directly from the source. I thought it was rare that there was no sauna, but there were about 5 bathtubs, and all the hot water felt good. I haven't looked at it in detail, but it seems that hot springs from different sources are collected. The problem is that you have to go down the stairs from the dressing room on the first basement floor, and the open-air bath is in a different place, so you have to put on a yukata and re-enter. Not recommended for people with bad legs. Other than that, it was a very comfortable hot spring hotel.
