This was the perfect place to stay in Kinsale. Directly on the harbour with beautiful views, walking distance to virtually all of Kinsale. The staff were all friendly, helpful, and provided excellent service. The rooms were luxurious and comfortable. Plenty of free parking, a rarity in Ireland. And the breakfast was delicious.

I booked Acton’s for my sisters hen and the experience was great. They were extremely accommodating for the hen party size (29) and were very helpful. We arrived before check in time and by the time we got back to the hotel our bags were taken up to all of the rooms, this was a lovely touch. The rooms were amazing and everyone enjoyed their stay. Overall it was an absolutely amazing weekend, I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough ☺️

Very comfortable beds, beautiful rooms and view.-right on the water . Restaurants nearby. Lots of amenities, wish all of our stays in Ireland went this nicely. Our best night of sleep, great food- we ate both dinner and breakfast was thoroughly impressed.

Fabulous Hotel and breakfast was delicious . Interior design everywhere was wonderful . Staff were helpful and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Kinsale is very pretty and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great start to our holiday and would highly recommend.

Good central location. Our suite was nicely done with a view of the harbor. Kinsale is a cute town. Sauna, steam room and pool facilities were good. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was excellent. I’m not sure you need to stay more than a night- but a good choice for us!

We stayed here 13 years ago, and loved it just as much this time. We were in Room 314, which they switched us to after first checking us into Room 301. There is a definite difference in window sizing, even though they are the same category apparently. We love that this hotel has an elevator, but there are a few up and downs within some of the floors, depending where your room is. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was outstanding. Location is great to just walk into town.

The Acton didn't dissapoint. It was exactly what we expected. Friendly, helpfull and well organised staff (especially at breakfast), clean room, nice view, free parking, good food, good location. If I had to fault anything, it would be the fact that the bar was unable to provide any cocktail with cream or milk. But that didn't spoil our overall stay.

The room was spacious, modern and perfectly clean. One of the best hotel showers I've used. Lunch was nice. We shared chicken wings and a goats cheese salad which set us up nicely for a walk to the fort. The leisure centre was excellent. Well kept equipment in a spacious environment. Pool area was large and also very well kept. The only let down was breakfast, the hot meals (scrambled eggs & smoked salmon for me/ eggs Benedict for herself) were both a little disappointing. To be fair we did eat right at the end of service after a workout and lesiurly swim/sauna session which could've been a lot to do with it.

We returned back to Actons, which was our wedding venue back in Oct 2021. There was a wedding on too and it all felt very nostalgic and brought back some lovely memories. We were warmly welcomed back by Lisa in reception too. We had a fab sea-view room and all we can say is wow, what a view!! It’s was so cosy and welcome, with a lovely card for our anniversary and some chocolates too! We had a lovely meal and breakfast too, with all staff welcoming and helpful! The food was amazing, especially the hot chicken wings!! Thanks for a lovely stay, we can wait to come back!
