Hotel Nissaki Beach

Pool was not filled up , not near any shops or local walk to town will take up to 2 hours to walk to nearest shop , overall finishing to the rooms and hotel was not done to a good standard , work men still on site working , litter and cigarette ends everywhere , receptionist not very helpful and rude , food is the same each day , not clean , ant infestation, walkways are a trip hazard , muddy footprints everywhere , no working communal lights , lifts breaking down regularly, smelt like urine and faeces everywhere. Paint left over door handles , pool ladders not secure resulting incident into pool , no fire extinguishers to sight but was hidden , so much more , rubbish left in bags for days on end. Did not let us know the water would be turned off all day for maintenance works was offered a bottle of water to shower with. Tv not on wall. Waited 45 minutes to check in. Over crowded

Friendly welcoming from the staff. Our swim up room is lovely! There is a slight old smell coming from the aircon which we was told it will be looked at today. The floors was slightly dirty too and they’re sending housekeeping to sort this. Overall the room is very spacious, lovely walk in shower, bathroom & double wardrobe. Unreal views from our room as well as by the pool. Own private hotel beach too which is very peaceful. Some building works going on but does not affect the hotel. Variety of food for breakfast however not many snacks available during the day. We can see this hotel is trying to rectify the teething problems so it’s a shame to see as the hotel has great potential!

A work in progress, sadly we paid well for a holiday and have so far waited hours for a room, other new arrivals have waited 3 hours....the facilities pool side are under construction, sure will be lovely when finished in a few months.... construction noises hardly make for a peaceful stay Avoid for the time being

The view is amazing, the food was great plenty to choose from. I thought it was a little untidy. The pool area and the tables on the balcony at lunch was never cleaned in the week. I feel we were there to early they were still bringing in furniture day by day. It had only been open 3 weeks. I think by summer it will be a great place.

We were slightly concerned going on this holiday due to use reading other people’s reviews before we went. This included building work going on, nothing being open, not enough staff etc. I can honestly say that this was not the case at all. We went on holiday here between 31st May-7th June. We arrived and was greeted with a welcome drink and was shown to our room by a member of staff. The staff member carried our bags to our room. The room was a good size with a lovely high pressure shower. The bed was comfortable and the air con kept the room lovely and cold. We had a mini bar which had a good collection of soft drinks, beers and water. Unfortunately this was only restocked once on our trip on the second day of us being there. Nothing more was added for the remaining five days. We had a swim up room but didn’t end up using the pool too much. We found the pool small and it was also freezing. It also felt uncomfortable to use the full length of the pool due to you being able to see in the person next doors room. The biggest reason for not using the pool is the smell from outside. We were not sure what it was but it would randomly appear so often and it stunk! Was not pleasant at all. Also made us not want to sit outside our room in the evening due to the smell. This was only around the rooms area where we were staying and not the rest of the hotel. There was a lot of cocktails to choose from and the bar stuff were incredibly friendly. The drinks were good and they were very accommodating. If something wasn’t on the menu, if you ask and told them what was in it they would make it. We was pleasantly surprised about the food. Like most buffets, there are odd looking items or questionable combinations but they also had a lot of really nice cooked meats and fish which they would be cooking through out the night. The Italian restaurant was amazing and the Mediterranean was also good. You get one free visit to each restaurant during your stay. Remember to do this as early as you can so you get to go. We didn’t think much of the entertainment. There didn’t seem to be much order and always felt like a quick thrown together event. One evening we were there, they did a DJ night which started at 9:30pm. We appeared around 8:45pm and they were fitting the lights to the chair. Asking people to stand whilst they fitted them. There is a shop that opened a few days into our trip that is outside the hotel. Don’t get me wrong. We went on two different occasions and the first time they had the door open, and we walked in as you do to have a look and the lady explained they were not open yet despite us being there for a good 5-10 minutes picking up our souvenirs and her greeting us as we walked through the door. The second time, we did ask if it was open to which she said yes. Again picked up various items. To which the woman said this is the price you have to pay in the hotel reception. The hotel has a beautiful view of the sea, the beach is clean and the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nicely furnished and clean. The food is varied and delicious, but you have to be quick when making restaurant reservations. The spa area invites you to relax, is inexpensive and the staff here are also very friendly and accommodating. Despina took all of my requests into account and the massage was very pleasant. All in all, the holiday here was very relaxing and I would recommend it.

Really lovely hotel, wonderful staff. Room very clean and comfortable. Food excellent and plentyful. Drinks were good, didn't expect such good red wine in Greece. Free bus to Corfu Town we'll worth the trip. Entertainment every evening was good quality, could do with more of a Greek theme.

The massage I received from Despoina at the Aegeo Spa was very relaxing and the right amount of pressure to my needs. The views from my room was spectacular and all the staff are very accommodating and super friendly Great holiday overall, what more do you need?

Beautiful hotel, staff friendly and attentive. Tui reps are amazing. If you going this season look out for chloe and Sarah. Do activities with them. Those girls are brilliant fun. Really make sure you get the best out of your holiday. The trips are amazing too. Even the local cats are friendly and keep the hotel clean of vermin.
