Trabukos Beach Complex

We arrived at Trabukos Beach Complex and signed into the accommodation by the young man on the desk and we then were shown our rooms. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. The rooms were very tatty and old looking, the curtains were tatty and didn't fit the windows, the accommodation is advertised as self catering but there were NO cooking utensils, I had 1 old pan and my mum had 1 old pan and one frying pan. When I looked in my wardrobe, I had 2 hangers and 1 was broken. My mum had 3 hangers. I asked the man on reception for some more he said there weren't any, so I had to go to the shop and buy some! My mum's room had plaster missing from the walls, plug sockets hanging out and I had some live cockroaches running across my floor. Unfortunately, I managed to drop and break my phone on the first day which contained the photos of the cockroaches but the rest is attached. My mum's room had barely any water, with a small trickle coming from her taps. The electric rings for cooking were ancient and took ages to heat. We asked to be moved but were told the hotel was full. However, in the morning, there was another young man in reception and he managed to find us two new rooms that were not on the ground floor, so the hotel was clearly not full. These rooms were only marginally better and without the cockroaches! Somebody else got moved into our two previous rooms the next night. The couple next door were appalled with their accommodation and had tried to call Love Holidays to try and complain but were told it was not their responsibility. They had had to go out and buy a knife, as there was nothing for them to prepare food with in their room. It appears that the 'hotel' complex had a reputation in Kavos of being of very poor quality, with locals asking 'Didn't you read the reviews?' rolling their eyes and saying 'Yes, we've heard it's bad!' Photos attached show the poor and damaged quality of the wooden walkway and bridges that residents and staff have to walk on. Not only is this highly dangerous, it is incredibly unsightly and adds to the poor image of the complex. In short, the reality of the complex fell way short of the photos that were used to sell the holiday. Talking to other hotel residents, they too were appalled at the quality of the accommodation and had asked to move rooms. I did try and get in touch with the Love Holidays rep on Corfu but was told she was nowhere to be seen and nobody had been able to contact her. (I don't have a name) This accommodation is extremely poor and of a very low standard and should not be rated as 2 Star.

Not the best place in the world. Hotel is tired and desperately in need of some care and maintenance. Staff are friendly and that would be the nicest thing I could say about the complex. Bathroom was a complete joke and don’t even think about self catering you most definitely need to eat out

Wouldn’t even give it a 1 star! Room stank, ‘clean’ towels dirty. Bugs in the room. Bathroom dirty. Kitchenette disgusting. Very loud when people walking past. The rooms on the pictures are not what you are given. The pools don’t look like the pictures and sent even part of this hotel! Maybe ok for a lads holiday if out most of time.

First of all, the hotel in the pictures was not the hotel we got!! It was horrid the complex if that’s what you call it was scruffy, dirty very run down I wouldn’t let my dog stay there although the vermin loved it, the receptionist was in the night club so had to wait for him we booked a self catering studio apartment, and got a dingy dark small room with a corner we’re a two hob cooker and sink was no work top space, there was no plates, cups or cutlery the room was dirty full of flies, Miskitos and it stunk we was in the room all of five mins and got bit to death the shower room was filthy with no shower curtain honestly I can’t describe how bad it was now I’m no snob I come from a very ruff estate and this place made that look like a heaven, it was clear it hadn’t been cleaned oh apart from the bedding now that did look clean, but soon as we open the draws there was flys it was like something out of a dingy horror hotel we spoke to reception who then said we need speak to day staff, what a fuxxing joke in the end we was walking Kavos ***** at 3am to find another hotel imagine, any way we went back the day after and guess what the day staff wasn’t any use according to him they was fully booked ya the rats and vermin booked the place out anyway we refused to stay there. Love holiday are a joke they have not helped one bit lessons learned I will never book through them again and please please be warned don’t go to this place it really is hell on earth and we didn’t even stay in the place although I have lost a stone in weight because our spending money went on another hotel so we had to penny pinch thank god we only went for 4 nights 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

The room was dark n dingy, was a twin room but had booked a studio went to complain staff were no help just said that is a studio apartment. there was dirt and broken tiles everywhere you walked within the complex (if you can call it that) what topped it off there was no running water, or flushing toilet for 2 hours one day, then the next day it went off again for 36 hours, again staff weren’t interested in my complaint, tried to say it was a government issue…….the hotel next door and the pub at other side had water and toilet facilities. Furthermore the shower when It did work had no screen or curtain around it and no holder…. so to wash hair you had to sit down the shower head or turn it off to avoid soaking the place. The only positive I would say was the location right on the beach, The noise level didn’t bother us as we knew it would be loud as it’s right on the *****.

I don’t recommend staying here we have been here for 10 days it has been the worst holiday the maid didn’t clean our room for 6 days the water completely stopped for 5 days the reception staff are extremely unhelpful and rude the room are falling apart

my friend zah curled one out into the pier ffs massive chud in the sea zah why did you do that? those waters are unsafe to swim in now. cant believe he hopped in and started bobbing around the poo

Good location, pool and views were amazing!!! Staff were very friendly and taking care on everything you need. Not to loud at night but still right in the party scene. Highly recommended! I will definitely be back!!

They purposely don’t turn up at reception when you’re leaving so they can keep your deposit Breakfast is 1 slice of dry bread and a small slice of pineapple and cake - DO NOT BUY with room As we arrived the electric blew when we plugged a charger in, took me a day to beg them to get it back on, phone was dead for a day of course as we just arrived from a day of travelling They refused a refund when love holidays contacted them. Pool was nice, a bit quiet for Kavos. Rooms were also basic like anything you’d get on the ***** so that was fine, really good location. Was not told that Atlantis club was shut, it’s advertised as open on the hotel, misleading.
