Paradise Bay Resort

Gorgeous location! If you’re looking for a quiet little gem, away from the noise & chaos of Waikiki, look no further. The tropical location took my breath away. This resort is tucked away on a dead end road in a quiet little neighborhood directly on Kaneohe Bay with breathtaking views of the Koloa Mountains & Bay. The grounds are absolutely stunning! The only negative thing I have to say was the housekeeping. They only clean on Wednesdays, & you must put in a request 24-hours in advance. And although we did that, our room was not cleaned. No biggie, we rescheduled it for the following day. However, it appeared they only swapped out the towels, made the bed & took out the trash. That was it. There was still sand all over the floors & dirty towels in the shower. I did go & talk to the front desk, again, and was told they would be refunding our $38/day resort fees. However, on the day of our departure we received a $300 charge to our credit card. Which required yet another visit to the front desk. As I write this review, the $300 pending charge finally fell off our credit card today. I highly suggest doing your research of the area if you’re planning on staying. Although there are plenty of restaurants, stores & activities in the area, you will need a rental car as there is nothing within walking distance. Overall, the rooms just need a REALLY deep cleaning, including the corners of every room & baseboards. But none of these things would deter us from staying again.

Hidden gem on the windward side of Oahu! Escape the crowds of Waikiki and experience the island beauty and peace. Wonderful staff, very comfy beds.

This is a great little resort tucked away from crowds on the east short of Oahu. It's 30mins from the Honolulu/Waikiki area, but a world away from the tourist bustle. It's on the water, but not a beach resort. If you want to step out of your room onto the beach or for shopping or dining then stay in Waikiki; but if you want a quiet out-of-the-way place to relax, grab a kayak, or access the east shore then this is a great choice. I'd definitely stay here again. You do need a car. It does have parking but it's very limited, and there are stairs to get to the rooms (be careful at night, they're dark!). I found it helpful to bring some breakfast items as there is no dining nearby (my room did have a small kitchenette).

This resort is off the beaten path, in the best way possible. It’s quiet, clean & beautiful. You really feel like you’re in Hawaii! The staff were all very helpful and you truly could not beat the views. Our room were clean and the bed was comfortable.

A true gem! Love the location and the activities. Great new kayaks and wonderful customer service at the front reception desk!

Paradise Bay Resort is a hidden gem on the Windward side of the island. I highly recommend if you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and want to immerse yourself in a slow paced island life!

This property is clean, comfortable bed. What I really enjoyed was the outside property and kayaking. Kris at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. She set me up for multiple kayaking trips and snorkeling. Thanks Kris!! I traveled solo and I felt very safe and comfortable.
