Hotels near Halla Arboretum, Jeju

This is my first time visiting Jeju and I chose this hotel. The beds are clean and tidy. The hotel service is great: WeChat has Chinese customer service for communication, and it is very convenient to make an appointment for airport pick-up and drop-off. If you have any questions, you can ask him. The hotel has airport pick-up and drop-off arrangements. The driver is very nice and will explain some attractions. The hotel also provides carpooling services for day trips. The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is very convenient to take the bus to the Dongmen Traditional Market. The bus goes directly to the door. There are many delicious food and it is convenient to go to the scenic spots. If you go to the farther scenic spots, of course it is best to carpool to save time and the price is not expensive. There are a lot of delicious food nearby, and the Health Care Road Pedestrian Street is nearby. I recommend this hotel to friends who are visiting Jeju for the first time. The price is cheap and the service is very good. I will stay here again if I have the opportunity😄

We stayed at three properties on our five night trip to Jeju. Grand Hyatt was the most satisfying due to its location, room cleanliness, and amenities.

I came back after staying for a couple of nights. It was clean. But the water pressure in the bathroom was weak, so the water overflowed once, which was embarrassing... I didn't throw anything away or put anything in itㅠ

The hotel's location is really good, very close to Lotte and Shilla Duty Free Shops, on the second street behind the main road, very quiet, with several convenience stores just outside, and a lot of food nearby. It's less than 800 meters from the commercial street, 2 kilometers from the airport, and a taxi costs 40 RMB. I was a little nervous after reading the reviews before, but the hotel is really clean, without any odor, someone cleans the room every day, the staff in the hotel lobby can speak simple Chinese, and their attitude is very good. They also help call a taxi to the airport, and provide power adapters in the room. There are people on duty 24 hours a day. This price is really impeccable. I stayed for a total of 3 nights and was really satisfied! I will stay in this hotel next time I go to Jeju Island!

The room I stayed in had a window facing the road, so there was some traffic noise, and for some reason, the glass windows only had thin white light-transmitting curtains that couldn't block the light. The single bed is right next to the balcony, and cold wind will come in through the window. The advantage is that the room is clean and the location is great. There is a bus stop at the door. There are many stop signs and there are many buses to the airport. There are many shops nearby for food and shopping. There is a convenience store in the lobby downstairs.

Fine for a one night stay. I had to catch a very early flight and the airport is a mere 2 Km away so walking was a good option. Easy, safe and rather quick exercise. The room was simple with a fridge and an efficient and rather quiet air conditioning system. The bed was fine. The bathroom basic. At first I found the check in surprising as it is kind of machine based but with no option for prepaid booking and no human visible. However there is a camera and I was quickly greeted and asked how I could be assisted. All in very good English. After explaining my ”case” a human was sent to finalize the check in process. That in basic English. I had a good night. For the price paid certainly not unhappy. One last comment: I could not find the hotel on Google map not on the KakaoMap app (best in Korea be it for public transportation or even walking directions as Google map offers very little there). You will have more luck searching for the ”K Tourist” hotel which is literally adjacent to the Woody tiny hotel.

It is a place I often go to recently on business trips. When I came in December, Chris Mastree was also made in the lobby. ㅎㅎㅎ The airport is close and the city center is so good. The front desk staff are so friendly and especially the female staff are very friendly ㅎㅎ A little I checked late, so please contact me in advance and check if the schedule has changed. I will use it next time.

To be honest, it's not a bad hotel at all. I stayed in a triple room on the third floor, right above the breakfast room: comfortable beds, a small sofa integrated into the desk, a television with satellite cable. Simple and clean. The room featured a spacious bathroom with bathtub and a window which, in my case, overlooked the back. The view was not great nor worse as the nearby tall buildings were far away and the view extended onto some nearby two-storey houses. Easy access from the airport with a bus stop just across the street. If breakfast is included in the price, the stay is highly recommended as what is offered every day from 6.30 to 9.30 is delicious, accurate and of good quality. Otherwise consider paying 11,000 won extra for such service. Perhaps I would spend the negative opinion more on the staff at the reception who were not particularly friendly and were also sufficiently rigid not to allow me a free upgrade even though the hotel was almost empty. Booking with Trip.com was super simple. All in all it is not a 5 star accommodation but not a makeshift accommodation either.

This was our first trip to Jeju, and the very time we tried a homestay. The place was fairly easy to get to if you drive, you just got to take note that before the drive-in to Lotteria, there is a small lane that allows you to drive into the place and many taxi drivers misses this turn-in. There are 3 buildings when you reach the place, with the Sun building being the left-most one, followed by Moon and Star. You can find the information desk at the Moon building level 1. It was abit difficult to find the information desk at first, but just need to walk up some stairs and you can find the entrance of the information desk on the right after getting up the stairs on level 1. The host and his wife were very friendly and helpful. The host was able to speak English and his wife could speak in Mandarin, so communicating with both of them was fairly easy. We received alot of good food recommendations from both of them and we enjoyed every meal we had based on their recommendations. When we got to out room, we were so happy to see how clean and tidy it was. There was a toilet and they provided the basic necessities such as Shampoo, Conditioner and Shower Gel, toothbrush and toothpaste, things that some other hotels does not have. The place was very cosy to be in, there was a kitchen where all the cooking essentials were equipped and you can make hot your food there or cook something up if you feel like it. When you get to the living room, there is a full pane window where you can see the full sea view. It was a very nice place to see the sunset and sunrise if you’re feeling lazy and don’t want to head out. The room was sparkling clean and sheets were all clean. For sorting of rubbish, the hosts settled everything for us. We didn’t have to sort our own rubbish which was really a plus for us. We really loved the fried chicken recommendation provided. When our flight got cancelled and we got stuck in Jeju for another 2 days, we immediately grabbed the chance to stay back at this place, because the hosts were simply too wonderful. Will definitely come again the next time we visit Jeju.

The location is far from the city downtown. The swimming pool was closed without notice during the monsoon season on June 30, 2024. That was disappointing. There is only one restaurant open within walking distance. The food was not that good. The convenience store has a limited selection in the lobby. We only stayed one night and Uber to Udo. We stayed at the charming, excellent Breeze Bay Hotel.
