Went there with family from Sylhet city without knowing that construction work was in place and rest of the resort was occupied by guest. Since security guard was unaware of all details, went to the Bristo restaurant and talked a beard guy over there. While leaving the place, the security guard named Nazim was shouting at us and blaming us for not having food at restaurant. As food was not our main motive and the menu was not so favorable to us, we didn't have anything at their restaurant. And how long did we stay inside the resort by the restaurant? 10 or 15 minutes max! But surprisingly, the security guard at the gate was so rude! Did you guys name your resort after this security?

Although it is situated in a beautiful location and it was one of the best resorts of this country 5-7 years ago, this is a rundown resort now with premium price tag for the experience! This is absurd! We booked two of their most expensive rooms as my elderly parents were travelling with us and I wanted to give them the best experience. Let me summarize the experience: After the first night, we found that rats are running around in the wooden false ceiling! wood borers infested sections of the ceiling and we found chunks of frass (ঘুণ) in different places of the room, including our bed!! A water pipe was leaking in the washroom and water was dripping from the roof! They acted promptly and changed our room in the morning, but we could still listen to rats running across the false ceiling in all three rooms we stayed. Rooms were damp as well! This was a very frustrating experience for us. Why did they arranged such a room for us that needed to be changed after one night of stay? Why do we need to pay a premium price for such poor experience? And if this is the experience in their most expensive rooms, I cannot imagine how it would be on the rest! Staff were super helpful through. Food was also good. I think they need to fix few things to make this place livable. First, re-do the rooms. It is difficult to maintain a resort in such humid jungle like place but what you are charging for this experience is unfair. Second, relook at the add-on services charges. The pick and drop from airport costs around $80, almost equal to a night's rent! The boat ride to the lake is not complementary and they charge $10 for this. This is not much, but it feels like you are trying to charge guests whenever possible, which gives us a bad experience. Include this charge with the room rent and make it complementary. I loved the location, food and the staff. It is sad to see the current state of the resort. I regret taking my parents there.

In my school trip to there, the hotel had a very interesting landscape, overlooking on a hill to the tea gardens that direct to the Indian state of Assam, the hotel had many ups but there was some things I dislike, one was limited food, my classmates were struggling to get a PLATE OF SPAGHETTI to gobble it up, even my teachers were struggling, also there was some demanded foods, like in my second day of my trip (3 day trip for yall) we didn't even eat the ones that were served, we only ate the special breakfast included in the hotel, muffins and green tea. You may ask about the rooms, they are okay... Almost all the rooms have a balcony that looks at the forest, and they get a ladder, TO DRY YOUR CLOTHES, and we also get a safe, a tv, some complimentary water, and a normal bathroom with all the basics. Don't even get me started at the outside, you get a free park thingy to roam and do stuff, but to enter the park, YOU HAVE TO CLIMB A FLIGHT OF STAIRS ON A HILL, and here we go, once you reach the area there is a building with several dogs barking at my group and poop in areas that nobody cares about, and there was a slide for some reason located far away that leads to a pond, I don't get the context though, anyways this trip was okay because this is my only time without my parents. This was a interesting trip and there was lots of fun. -Saffan, former student of International School Dhaka

One of the worst experiences I ever had in Bangladesh. We went there with one of colleague his family and mine. The room was stinky and wet, AC were not working, and electrical connection were very poor. It took us nearly an hour to get the electricity connection. The cost of a room was as high as 13000 BDT = $130. The chair of the dining was terrible! My 3-year-old kid dropped from the dining chair which was no way usable! i was astonishing how a resort of USD 130 can be that terrible! most of the foods was terribly bad, the chicken and beef were frozen for may be 2/3 years! The swimming pool was dormant and stinky with full of frogs! The worst food i have ever had with 3/4 times higher price! the cost of food was 2/3 time higher than usual price. But the most unsatisfying was their behavior and service. Now a days no one visit there so whenever they have someone in the resort they want to exploit as much as they can! I would humbly request you to avoid this place.

Visited with some friends and family, place is well kept. Rooms and bathrooms are nice but food prices are a bit high, 1700 tk is charged for child but without any extra benefit! Breakfast has very few items according to room prices, approach road is a disaster.
