In the recent trip to Greece during February 2020, we stayed for one night in this magnificent hotel. The city has a very nice sea trip and although it was quite cold, it deserved to walk through it already dark. I don't know how it will be in long stays, but the time we spend there did not give us any reason to complain.

I really recommend this hotel; we had a thoroughly nice time staying here for 10 days and would definitely stay here again. Comfortable beds, spotlessly clean rooms and bathrooms, daily housekeeping, friendly amd helpful staff, and an excellent buffet breakfast. A quiet location almost on the beach, and within very easy walking distance along the sea-front to the town centre with its restaurants and shops, harbour, churches and bus station etc. It's also very easy to get in and out of Itea by road from the Kalafati Hotel; it's about 20 minutes easy driving up to Delphi with its archaeological sites, through the mountains to Thermopylae, over to Amifassa, Galixidi, Arachova etc. Nikos and his father pull off the difficult trick of running a tight ship that operates efficiently whilst being both relaxed and friendly, and always willing and able to help. There is free on street parking and free wi-fi too! There are tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms, and the wonderful mountain tea (ironwort) and delicious freddo (iced) espresso/cappucino can be obtained in the lobby (ask at Reception). The level of service from the owners and staff of this hotel is better than most 5* hotels. it epitomises the best of Greece and Greek hospitality.

We stayed here for 2 nights in room 223. Our initial impressions were not great, as the hotel was packed outside with coaches and busy inside too. No offer of help with our bags. Check in was swift and efficient. Room - it’s an standard tourist hotel. Ok for a night or two. The room was spacious and with plenty of storage but no water in the fridge. The highlight of the room were the superb views. We could not get the aircon-fan system to blow any cool air at all. Good Wi-Fi. Bathroom - spacious but tired. Breakfast - plenty of choices. Dinner - on our first night we ate in the small town nearby. There are a good choice of restaurants and bars, but it’s a real tough walk back up the hill. Overall - an average hotel used solely for tourists visiting Delphi. The highlight of the hotel are the superb views. We never tired of the lovely views from our balcony and the staff were always friendly and helpful.

The best thing for a family is the hotel! The friendly staff was there for us no matter what we asked for... from the receptionists to K. Violetta in the kitchen! He provided us with the breakfast that they had with such pleasure! The only thing is certain is that we will prefer it again on our next excursion! Everything next to Arachova! You can walk everywhere!

Pythia Art Hotel is conveniently located opposite the pick up point for the Delphi to Athens bus. I booked through Airbnb and unfortunately the Airbnb address is inaccurate and so I was directed to a different hotel that was closed. However having been helped by a friendly local restauranteur I arrived at the well situated accomodation in time to see a brilliant sunset over the spectacular valley from my balcony. Due to issues with the elevator Alexandra offered me a different bedroom to the one advertised on Airbnb (same location but on the second rather than third floor) which was very clean and warm and perfect after a day of walking and sightseeing. Breakfast was a buffet style of locally sourced produce alongside cereals and a cooked breakfast. Vassilis was a friendly and welcoming host and I was able to leave my small rucksack with him while I visited the museum ahead of my return to Athens. The walk to the archaeological sites and museum is an easy downhill stroll and the hotel is surrounded by coffee shops and restaurants. Delphi is beautiful and was considered to be the centre of the world by the ancient Greeks. I have already booked to stay with Alexandra again next month, with my daughter.

My wife and arrived at 1:30-2:00 AM. We visited several other establishments that were either not answering the door, or were generally less desirable. Not only was Europa Beach Hotel open, I was warmly welcomed in a professional manner and my wife was given a fresh cut complimentary flower. Now that is a nice touch in itself. The Receptionist insisted upon carrying our luggage to the room, ensured the room was properly stocked and cleaned by Staff. We were given full instructions of how to operate the amenities and all other matters. The Reception desk assisted me to order take away food by suggesting a reputable late night establishment that delivered. I was not put out that the hotel kitchen was closed due to the hour, since there was an alternative offered. The complimentary breakfast was both traditional and substantial. The dining area is tastefully furnished with an attentive dining room Staffing.
