Galaxa Mansion

We had a lovely three day stay here. The room was spacious with a very comfie bed. The bathroom was a little quirky but sufficient. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The location was very walkable. We loved it and would not hesitate to recommend it or to stay here again.

The hotel is not a mansion and certainly not a boutique hotel. The price of 120 euros or $140 is outrageous for the room and the service we had. Not sure which one was worse. We reserved a deluxe sea view with balcony. We entered into a room - Calypso - so tiny that the small double bed was stuck between three walls and the sink. I had to climb over my husband to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The toilet and the shower were in a ‘closet’ so large that my extended arms could touch the walls on either side and I am only 1.75 meters or 5’8. If one is overweight, they will not fit. The service is non-existent. We had to lug our suitcases ourselves up a narrow and steep staircase. My husband is 80 years old but the young girl who gave us the key did not seem to care and disappeared before we could ask for help. A good thing we only travel with carry-ons. The non-service continued at breakfast time where the only welcome was a ‘what is room name’ When we left, no thank you or goodbye or ‘ have a good trip’ - just a ‘where is the key’ We could not cancel as cancellations are only accepted 15 days prior to arrival so we were out of luck and had to spend two nights in this place. Only 3 positive points: the room is clean, the view from the small balcony is very nice and the breakfast terrace is pleasant. Do yourself a favor - Stay somewhere else. There are enough nicer and cheaper places in the area.

Really charming place to spend time in Galaxidi. We went with our three kids, and had two rooms across the hall from each other. The rooms are beautiful, filled with light and charm. They both had strong A/C, and a small but very nice stand-alone shower. My wife and I had a balcony with a view of the harbour which was spectacular especially at night. The breakfast is truly something special. Make sure you go with an empty stomach, and when the bring the first course out - remember it is only the first course!! We thought it was the whole thing, were already full, and then out came tray after tray of delicious yogurts, crepes, bruschetta, and more.

I went to Galaxa Mansion with my husband and 10 years old child in June this year. It is a beautiful little hotel so well located in Galaxidi, beautiful vue, divine terrasse, adorable bedroom, lots of charm, peaceful. We learned a lot about the town by chatting with the owner of the hotel which made the stay even more interesting. We loved our daily evening aperitif on their terrace. Absolutely charming place, I will definitely send my friends and family there.

If you get a chance to visit Galaxidi, I think there is only one choice for comfortable accomodation and this is the one. It is only two minutes away from the city port. I and my family stayed there for 4 days during our summer vacations. We loved it. The rooms have a great view to the sea or the city, depending which one you choose. The stuff is great and the breakfast even better. The only thing you have to take into consideration is whether you are going to eat breakfast at the mansion's facilities, because if you do you will have to pay extra 15€ per person. At last if you choose to go there, which I highly recommend, you will find peace and quiet, because it is really quiet with no people shouting or laughing at night. Generally really loved it there, and we are going to take another trip there soon!

One of the most magical and calming place we have ever been to. The host is super friendly and he helped as in anything we needed. The atmosphere there is relaxing and we felt like in a dream. The breakfast was homemade with fresh orange juice and greek dishes. The location of the hotel is perfect and the view is outstanding. We already booked our next vacation there ❤️

We passed by on the off chance and this really is a wonderful spot to enjoy a view of the harbour and town with all its charm and character. It’s beautifully appointed and very comfortable and the staff were most welcoming so a great place to cool off with a beer.

We spent two nights at this very charming, well-run hotel. We stayed in the Artemis Suite and it was just wonderful. Lovely balcony with full view of the sea. This is a family run hotel and they care about their guests. The breakfast was delicious and homemade. Fresh orange juice, fantastic Greek specialties and eggs to order as you like. Cannot say enough about this place. Good signage to find the hotel. Galaxidi is charming and easy to walk around from the hotel.

Galaxidi is a pretty seaside town , easy to walk around with restaurants lining the quay . The hotel is a Traditional greek house in a lovely location on a hill overlooking the bay . Lovely terrace with seating and bar area . Free parking available for about 4 cars. Manager/ owner very nice and helpful .Bedroom very simply furnished and spotlessly clean but shower room / loo tiny and basin in bedroom . We stayed 1 night on our road trip , on our way to Delphi about 30 mins drive away
