Garlon Residence

On check in the staff took me to a smaller room with less beds than the one I picked and paid for. Eventually I was moved to the right room but the sofa bed wasn't made up even though I paid for 3 guests and had emailed in advance of our requirements. I was just handed 1 sheet, 1 pillow and 1 light blanket to make up myself on top of the sofa cushion. It wasn't an actual sofa that converted to a bed. The key cards didn't work for the first 2 days of my stay which was very inconvenient and I had to find a security guard who then rang the apar**ent staff who would let me in my room which took 10 minutes every time. On the third day I was given a working key card which was a relief. The room also smelled of smoke and had ash trays even though my booking stated it was a non smoking room. Had to pay a 6000lira deposit (which I was only made aware of after I paid on booking. Com) The sofas were stained and the cooking hob was very scratched so had to spend time taking photos on arrival so as not to lose the deposit. To be fair I was not questioned about anything on check out so I think it's a genuine deposit scheme and perhaps the apar**ents have been misused by guests in the past. The fancy mirror light in the pictures also didn't work. The housekeeping were brilliant, very attentive and kept my apar**ent clean and well stocked. They were very kind ladies. Excellent location and the staff are friendly and helpful despite the problems with key cards etc. Great to have a washing machine and dishwasher when travelling with kids.

From the minute I got to the Hotel was greeted by Abdurrahman Hotel’s Manager, fresh scent of gardenias was very welcoming in a spotless environment, the apar**ent was better than the pictures described, all the amenities and the comfort of a modern home, was very happy to know that we have a daily cleaning staff, thank you ladies for your great job.. will definitely recommend.. and be back soon…centric.. near to public transportation and safe..thank you all for a great 2 weeks stay

The residence is super central, the staff were incredibly helpful and very nice and the actual rooms are gorgeous. Furthermore, the views are brilliant from the penthouse. I would highly highly recommend. The staff even gave us an extra room because we wanted a later checkout to no cost.

This is a gem in a bustling location of Taksim literally walking danstance to Taksim square and all the busy streets for shopping and dining. Yet it was peaceful and quiet within the building. Everything inside was new and furniture very stylish and all amenities. Apar**ents contain Netflix and live steaming television for times you just want to stay indoors. Staff all very helpful and accommodate all needs and wants. Excellent property and keep up the high standards.
