We loved our stay at Huanghan Lotus. The staff are all very friendly and sweet, and communicative through chat apps even though we do not speak Mandarin. They helped us plan our route up and around the mountain, arranged a taxi for our return, and let us leave our bags here while we travelled up the mountain for a night. When we returned to pick up our bags, we decided to get a massage at the spa and they gave us both half an hour extra. About the room — we were upgraded and the room is gorgeous, beautiful wood and a very comfortable bed and shower etc. The hot spring is also very comfortable, the perfect way to unwind. This hotel is truly impressive, we were lucky to find a hidden gem. The location is very convenient if you want to be close to Mount Huangshan, it's around 15 min away by walk to the south gate of the mountain. The room looked exactly like the photo, in fact it's even better in person, it's way more spacious than it looks. It's clean, the views we had from our windows were also great. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly, very helpful when we needed help with the transport. They gave us local snacks to try, toys to play with when we went river rafting and hiking sticks when we went to Mount Huangshan. I am not one to write reviews but this is a hotel that provided great value that far exceeded our expectations for the price we paid. As foreigners, we are very grateful for the very warm welcome and hospitality throughout the whole duration of our stay! 😁🙏 For sure, if we ever visit Huangshan again, we will stay here! 谢谢! ⛰️💚🌹🌹🌹

Perfect Hotel if you want to get early to the mountain. The hotel and interior is very new and modern. We asked for a non-smoking-room and hab a very nice clean room. The staff is very nice, although our Chinese is very bad, we managed to communicate, the Hotel added us on wechat so we could ask all questions. We could also park our car at the hotel and they gave us a drive to the south gate. The food was also very nice. We had dinner and breakfast there, both was order a la carte. The food was tasty and fresh for reasonable prices.
