This was a totally fine experience. I wasn’t blown away, and i wasn’t super disappointed either. It was OK. I’ll list my positive and negative comments below. Positive: -The staff at the front desk was friendly. -The view from my room was amazing. -The location of the hotel is central, and it’s easy to walk around town from there. -I had a «superior room» which was a good size and had almost all the comforts one needs. -It was easy to adjust the temperature both in my room and in the bathroom. -The big bed was comfortable and the pillows very soft and nice. -The breakfast was ok- like a common hotel breakfast. Negative: -When i arrived to my room it really reaked of sewage in there, and specially from the bathroom. It disappeared after a while, but it really does not give a good first impression.. -I hate the wall-to-wall floor carpet: it looks and feels dirty. -The curtains were not able to block out all the light, which is stupid when the hotel is located in a place where it gets sunlight in the middle of the night and all night during summer… So i woke up several times during the night because of the light.. The curtains were also filthy and had white spots on them from god knows what… -The water in the shower and the bathroom sink took forever to actually get hot. -The listing of the room claimed it was a superior room with coffe/tea-maker, but no such thing was to be found. -I wish there was a umbrella and shoe horn for people to borrow, seems like such a cheap extra service to provide in a «superior» room. -There was only a power outlet on one side of the bed. I was alone so it was ok, but might be a bit annoying if you travel as a couple. To sum up, it was a totally ok stay, maybe i’ll stay here again, because of the location. But service wise and experience wise i might as well stay anywhere else.
