Diva an amazing woman and host. This is has been my home away from home for some years. A happy place to go after a long day. Dina and Werner are always willing to help and go out there way for their guests. I love it. This trip, I made use of the redecorated upstairs venue. It was private and quite. I could conduct my meeting as if it was in my own office. The ladies catered around our needs as needed. Well done and congrats on new area and my this provide only happiness to all that use it. Keep it up ladies.

We booked Oak View Manor in Heidelberg as we had a wedding to go to… Gavin checked us in and gave a tour of the most fantastic Property - out of a movie - mindblowing… Dina and Gavin were the consummate hosts - nothing was too much! The rooms are masterfully decorated and the breakfast was super delicious… we highly recommend Oak View Manor when you are in Heidelberg!!!

The friendliness of the hosts and the exchange was interesting and entertaining! Breakfast. It was beautifully prepared with a wide variety of ingredients - wonderful! The premises, including all rooms in the main house, are beautifully furnished and have a lot of history behind them. Thank you all Dina, Gevin and Werna.

Looking for a time travel experience? Oak View Manor is a not only a dynamite but that one under-looked matchstick that can make an explosion of abundant joy, peace, grace and love with its magical rooms, the house the garden all teleporting you to a series of centuries with a touch of overwhelming nostalgic thoughts and it’s just incredibly therapeutic before you know it. The decorations, interior designs… photoshoot hotspot! The welcome we got from our two new adorable furry besties and their two gracious and loving owners… we found our second safe haven in a form of a home. In short we will come back again.

Oak View Manor is not just a place to stay, its an experience of a lifetime. Each room is meticulously decorated with the eye of a designer, transporting you into a different era. The food is prepared to the standards of a 5 star restaurant, not to mention the cappuccino which is the best I've ever tasted. The hosts are friendly, warm, welcoming, helpful and a delight to engage with. I can highly recommend Oak View Manor to anyone in the area.

Excellent and very accommodating hosts!! We went with two small kiddies - very nice garden for them to play in and run around. The hosts were superb and even cut sausages into *****s for the kids. Highly recommend

Oak View Manor is fantastic! The room was lovely with great amenities extremely comfortable and super clean. The hosts Gavin and Dina are wonderful, making you feel welcome and at ease from the get-go. There is also a great menu that caters to all tastes and specifications I would definitely recommend that anyone stays at the Oak Wood Manor

I needed to take some time out from life for a bit and regroup and discovered a little slice of heaven, just over 30mins south of Jozi! Oak View Manor in Heidelberg is like staying at your grandparents place as a kid! It’s free, it’s calm and a place to forget all of you cares, woes and responsibilities! The Chocolate Suite where I stayed has a beautiful courtyard alive with birds, plenty of shade and a fire pit and braai, the interior is cool and calm, with a kitchenette, a breakfast bar looking out onto the courtyard, a good size air fryer, small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities and a sofa to lay and read or fold down to a double bed if you’re travelling with others. The huge bedroom is beautifully decorated with interesting pieces to look at and discover as you stay longer and the bathroom is glorious, a stone basin and large ball and claw bath/shower with a huge shower head feel luxe and laid back, a perfect sanctuary to soak in the tub! The owners who manage the property themselves are delightful and easy to talk with, they are always around somewhere, even though you don’t notice them. Their meals are great and my next visit will have to include some extra time at their coffee shop, or maybe I’ll even invite some friends along, just to experience their high tea! The main house is a feast for the eyes, an artful mix of the antique and modern and every time you go in, you will notice something new! It’s very comfortable with loads of “communal” space that is calming, inviting and alive with history. You feel like you’re at home, not like you’re in a guesthouse. Lay on their huge leather sofa in the parlour, with the sun glinting through the windows to read a book, relax with a coffee under their giant oak tree in the garden, just make yourself at home is very much the overall feel of this venue! The owners have amazing recommendations of things to do and see nearby and their taste in restaurants is superb! A very chic couple whose greatest value is making you feel like you belong. Werna, a good friend or theirs also stays on the property and assists and is the most attentive hostess! They have 2 incredibly friendly dogs that are happy to interact with you as much or as little as you choose to, they seem to read you like a book. I cannot say enough about this incredible gem that I have stumbled upon and I will most definitely be spending more time there, rather regularly I think! I noticed many bookings are for one night as a “stop over”, but I spent 6 nights and was so grateful that I did! I spent a day just doing antique stores which are jam packed with furniture and trinkets, I also spent loads of time walking around the town which is steeped in history and has detailed boards of this on homes, churches and more! The old streets are shaded by huge, ancient trees and the “spruit” that runs through the town gives a beautiful sense of calm everywhere! I cannot wait to visit again and still have quite a few things to see
