Hotels near Ruyi Cave in Hangzhou

A very satisfying accommodation experience. This hotel was recommended by my sister-in-law. She just stayed in Hangzhou last month. She knew I was coming and specially recommended it to me. It was really better than expected. I entered the hotel in the evening when I first arrived. The alley was dark and I was a little disappointed. When I entered, the parking lot service staff enthusiastically helped me park my car. I had very little luggage and I didn’t need help. The service was really super enthusiastic and led me to the front desk to help me with the procedures. He took me into the room and gently introduced the hotel and the room. I was really flattered. The hotel is controlled by Xiaodu intelligently. I can turn on the air conditioner, turn on the TV and close the curtains with just one sentence. It's so convenient! The small items prepared are full of details, including disposable dental floss, masks, wet wipes, and even face towels in the room. The breakfast buffet is particularly delicious, with both Chinese and Western options. I feel like I am a bastard when it comes to this. ,Hahaha I'm lazy as hell and rarely comment. I arrived in Wuzhen in the evening, and the hotel clerk called me back to check whether I arrived at my destination safely. I also have never eaten fine bran from a wild boar, and now all hotels in Hangzhou do this. Okay, keep rolling up! If any friends come here, they will definitely recommend this restaurant.

The hotel is located at the very beautiful part of the West Lake, making it easier to walk round the lake. However, the amenities are quite dated and the service is certainly far from the expected standard. The breakfast was pretty average. I certainly will opt for more modern hotel to stay in Hangzhou in the future.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is that it is on the edge of West Lake. You can have a deep tour of West Lake. The Yuewang Temple is at the door. It is also very close to Lingyin Temple by taxi. You can go to Su Causeway to take a walk and see the night view at night. There is an open-air platform on the 5th floor, where you can see the beautiful scenery of West Lake. The hotel has its own catering. There are KFC and small restaurants at the door. There are many shared bicycles and shared electric vehicles. The breakfast is rich and the dining space is large. The disadvantage is that the room is relatively small, but the disadvantages do not conceal the advantages! The service attitude is also very good.

Hotel located near to metro station. The nearest station is Ding’an station exit gate D. The metro is red color (Line 1) direct line connecting to Hanzgzhou airport. So if you coming from airport no need to the change line. Hotel itself located at city, morning time can walk to Hangzhou museum, along the way many shops around. Western shops eg: macdonald, costa coffee, starbuck. Alot cafe, tea, souvenir shops. Close also morning market called Damanong. Can have breakfast and see the morning market. Use the public bicycle to go there, just use alipay. Distance 1.2km. Near the morning market at the end there is God City Temple for you to visit, can see the whole Hangzhou city from top of the temple. The hotel is clean, have free washing machine and dryer machine. Detergent provided. At the same place there are 2 treadmills provided ( gym quality). Couch provided while you waiting for you laundry. There is also a steam iron provided. Breakfast selection is good with varities of foods like egg fried rice, chicken sausage, ham, beef, eggs, salted eggs, cereal, warm soy milk, milk, bread, butter and strawberries jam. Noodles, congee, fruits, croissant, cupcakes, corn, cookies. There are 2 robots helping to deliver things inside the hotel. If you order food, the robot will send the food to your room. There are also snacks you can buy at the ground floor. For muslim, this hotel located infront of a mosque, there is a Halal restaurant near to the hotel. More halal restaurant across the road near to exit A og Ding’an metro station. I came during Christmas, the hotel give me present for Christmas, when I check out they give me souvenir to me also. Everyday, I was provided with 2 bottles of water and change new set of towel. The water heater, the heater function very well during winter. Im a happy guy during the visit.

We booked a loft starry room. I personally like this kind of loft room. Although it is a little shorter than a normal room, I suggest that it doesn’t matter if you are under 1.75 meters tall. If you are over 1.75 meters tall, you may bend at an angle. Others are fine. It's a very comfortable stay. The environment is good and clean. The surrounding air and environment are also very good. It's suitable for travel and vacation. It's very comfortable. The room facilities are also very new. The terrace outside the room is especially suitable for chatting while drinking tea. The lighting in the room is very good. The bed was neatly made and clean. The view of the B&B was very beautiful, with many flowers and the fragrance was charming. It is very close to the West Lake. It only takes more than ten minutes to take a look and take a gentle stroll on the road. The boss is very nice and the restaurant he recommended is very delicious! Friends staying at the hotel must try it!

West Lake Villa is located on the bank of West Lake. It is built along the mountain slope and blends in with the West Lake landscape. The mountains and lakes are dependent on each other. The villa is full of greenery and picturesque scenery. Outside the villa, Su Causeway faces each other, Bai Causeway overlooks, isolated islands depend on each other, and Yue Temple is adjacent. West Lake Villa makes full use of the original ecological landscape characteristics of the site, creating scenery according to the situation, garden setting and culture as the scenery, creating the characteristics of ”secretness, lushness, elegance and appreciation”. The buildings of the villa cannot be seen from the outside. When you enter the villa, there are lush trees and elegant scenery. The six buildings depend on each other to form a beautiful picture. Entering each building, you can feel the spaciousness and grandeur of each building, which is difficult to achieve in ordinary hotels. You can use battery cars to go to various buildings, and you can also roam freely to enjoy the beautiful scenery in the courtyard. During the G20 Summit in Hangzhou, West Lake Villa was selected as a dedicated hotel to receive domestic and foreign guests. There is an old building in the hotel called the ”May 4th Constitution Historical Materials Exhibition Hall”, which was the place where the first Constitution of New China was drafted in 1954. In December 1953, Chairman Mao led a constitution drafting team to Hangzhou, and its office was located where the May 4th Constitution Historical Materials Exhibition Hall is today. When I first saw the May 4th Constitution, I thought it had something to do with the May 4th Movement. After a closer look, I discovered that it was China’s first constitution in 1954. Make no mistake! ! The facilities in the hotel are very modern. The curtains have electric switches, the bathtub curtains can automatically set atomization, and the bathrooms are all smart toilets. What needs to be mentioned is that the flowers indoors are real flowers, not plastic flowers. At first I thought they were plastic flowers when I saw such blooming flowers! The drinks in the refrigerator are free, and snacks with local Hangzhou characteristics are delivered every day (I don’t know if it’s a New Year’s Day discount). Maybe everyone is concerned about whether there is a parking lot if you drive by yourself? You can park in front of each building. If you can't park, there is a special underground parking lot. If it is an electric vehicle, you can use the charging pile to charge your Baoju. Parking is free for hotel guests. The hotel's restaurant is very atmospheric, with a variety of meals to choose from. Mainly Chinese style, supplemented by Western style. You can experience a lot of authentic Hangzhou cuisine here. It is worth mentioning that there is actually natural honeycomb honey that can be eaten. The honeycomb honey hanging on the shelf is very spectacular! The very, very important reason I like it here is the tranquility. Although the West Lake is outside, and people come and go during New Year's Day, and there is a constant flow of people on the street until midnight, but it is quiet inside the hotel courtyard, undisturbed by the noise outside. It can be quiet or noisy, switch as you like.

It was overall great experience. Helpful staff who provided suggestions on how to go West Lake from the hotel. Convenient location, very near to the metro station (next to the hotel) and within walking distance to West Lake Hu Bin entrance (about 20-min walk, passing by some eateries and shopping mall). Clean and neat hotel room, with premium experience to enjoy (Dyson hair dryer, Nepresso coffee machine, free snacks/drinks in the fridge). It will be better if the room ventilation (mainly toilet cubicle) can be improved, and the aircon noise can be fixed.

We went to this hotel for a short holiday and it’s been the most amazing experience! When we got there the staff attended us in perfect fluent English! We got an upgrade to a better room due to the construction site nearby but honestly the noise wasn’t even noticeable. The breakfast is the best I’ve had in a long time huge variety of stuff western food, fresh juices, cereals, english breakfast, all kinds of dumplings… The leisure area is beautiful we played tennis and the coach was genuinely kind and we are still in touch with him, became our friend! Hahaha really nice sauna, steam room, awesome swimming pool, quiet gym… really really nice. And it’s got a Starbucks inside of the hotel… + great attraction the surrounding area. I absolutely recommend this place for foreigners and locals.
