The positives: The staff were very nice, the shuttle drivers were great and the cabin was clean. It was peaceful and quiet.
However, if we had known that the cabin was 2 km away from the hotel, we probably would not have stayed. I booked it because of its proximity to echo land. However, the cabins were located 2 km outside of town, and although there was a shuttle it would’ve been super helpful to have a car. in addition, the cabin was very cold. The heater smelled like gasoline and did not adequately heat the cabin. Although the staff gave us two space heaters when we use them, it would blow a fuse in the fuse box. So we were very uncomfortable and cold for most of our time spent at the cabin. Because of that I would not recommend.

We stayed in one of the villas for Chris**as and had a great time. Cottage I was spacious and clean, with everything you would need for a family stay. Would definitely recommend a villa if you want your own space while in Happo, and it was a good base for both Hakuba 47 and Happo slopes - however, you will definitely need your own car as the villa was out from the main town and off any shuttle bus route. The staff at Reposer were really helpful - picking us and our luggage up to take us to the villa, and then dropping us off at the bus station for check out. They also arranged delivery of our luggage back to Tokyo so we didn't have to bother with them on the train.

ログハウスをまるまる一軒借りるステイなので、本当にくつろげました。洗濯機があったのが本当に便利で、暖房も強力で温かく、言うことナシ。キッチンも広々として使いやすく、朝食は毎日簡単なものを自炊できました。
ホテルに泊まるよりも心身ともに休まるので、家族連れなら特におすすめです。また今回、レンタカーを借りなかったのですが、施設の方がどこかに行くときは車を出してくれるので（帰りはタクシーになります）、慣れない雪道を運転せずにすみ助かりました。
