Our stay here was absolutely wonderful; I truly felt we made the right choice. The staff were incredibly welcoming and gave us a thorough tour of the facilities. The room was simple yet cozy, offering a peaceful retreat. We were delighted to find welcome snacks and tea laid out on the table. The service was outstanding, the kaiseki dinner was delicious, and we were very satisfied with both the private onsen and the separate male and female hot spring facilities. Thank you! 😊

This hotel isn't worth the money, even for a budget option. You won't experience Japanese hospitality here. All the staff aren't Japanese, making it feel like we weren't even in Japan, but some other country. I'd read about the amazing hospitality at other ryokans, but this place offered nothing close. First, the Kaiseki dinner was unappetizing. Second, there's no elevator, so you have to lug your suitcase down from the fifth floor yourself, which is quite a struggle. Third, regarding the promised shuttle service – when we asked for it to be ready in 20 minutes, they refused, saying other guests might call for it. It seemed like we weren't as important as other guests. They then combined our shuttle with guests from another hotel and didn't even let us choose our seats. We were crammed into the very back, where it was incredibly cramped. It felt like our value as guests was lower than others, even though we tried to explain that we didn't want to sit in the back and it was too tight. Zero respect for guests. The hotel is old and smells of mold. The only things I liked were the view from the window and the hot springs (onsens) themselves, and that it's close to the ropeway station. That's it.

A very nice ryokan with nice staff and beautiful view. I was just a bit shocked that they made me pay the food for 2 persons even though I have just booked for one.

the room it self was not very clean and was also damaged/In need of repairs as there was bit of the doors broken and walls as well as the "hot spring" area was very damaged and when you stepped on the planks of wood on one side it lifted and moved on a positive note though the staff were very hospitable and did there best and the meals were presented beautifully they also tried there best to help and tried to speak English as well (I also tried to speak in Japanese tho I am not very good yet)

Wonderful traditional hotel with amaizing breakfasts and dinners. We stayed for two nights, so we had two breakfasts and two dinners. Every time it was different and delicious. Hotel has two common bath and one private (not in your room). Want to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH to hotel's staff for our vacation.

My husband and I spent two nights at this ryokan. It was lovely, cozy, and the staff was wonderful and friendly. I visited the onsen twice a day, and each time I was completely alone. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner; we ate everything without leaving anything behind. We arrived early, and our luggage was stored without any problems, and upon our return, we found it in our room. The reception staff provided detailed information on routes, transportation schedules, and various aspects of our stay. We had a wonderful stay and were very satisfied.
