Crowne Plaza Guangzhou City Centre Reviews

I always stay at the Crown Plaza while visiting the Canton Fair. They read some of my last recommendations and changes some critical points. If you stay at the CP Club lounge you have 2 items of laundry free. But nobody knows even not the employees 😜

The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was not very good. There is a shopping mall just across the road, got plenty other choices of food. The facilities are a bit old but is clean overall. The children playhouse is very small and a bit disappointing.

Hotel location is near metro station,about 7 to 8 mins walk. The hotel building is a bit old and need renovation but nevertheless hotel stay overall is good,morning breakfast not bad,quite a lot of variety of food.

The hotel is located in City center, the rooms are big and clean. The bed and other furniture is pretty old and old fashioned. The city view from the window was really amazing

Amazing location near to metro station , you can find taxi easily, have many options near by such as mall , lot of markets and staff are great , but sometimes weak English from staff

Overall it was good. Location is perfect to stay in Guangzhou. Enjoyed my business trip staying at this hotel.

Overall, our stay was comfortable and pleasant. Just had some expectations, based on my stay in Pudong in Crowne Plaza, was kind of expecting a little more. Breakfast spread for vegetarians was limited, kind of manageable, but ambience was weak. Rooms were very comfortable but appeared little old. So again, all in all fair, but time to change a little is due.

Comfortable room and clean, great location. I’ll come back.

Front Desk staff is top service, housekeeping lady that clean my room, thank you so much for the hand writing note.Concierge staff, doesn’t feel like helping traveller like us. I want to thank front desk for helping me and assisting on my request. Here are the major negative thing that i personally feel 1. Centralized A/C which is too hot even though i have switch to the lowest degree with cool high air. 2. Window too dusty as i was told to open the window if is too hot and stuffy 3. Shower top needs to change as the rubber tip turn brownish and water shooting from different direction 4. Breakfast expenses need to pay on the spot and not able to settle upon departure 5. Lift is alittle scary to me even though is safe. The lift have not completely stop and the door open. Overall, staffs is good but hotel is kinda old.

Beautiful hotel with very spacious rooms, breakfast is great. Sky view is fantastic, you have dedicated lifts to floors above 40 for easy access. Too many restaurants and shopping around this hotel

Efficient room service, clean room, first choice in GZ for sure
