Pet Friendly Hotels in Greensboro

I was here in the Greensboro area for job interviews, due to a great prospect and wanting me to do additional face to face interviews I had to extend my stay an additional 3 days, this put me at 08 days at the hotel. One of the hotel staff came to my room and informed me that if I was planning to stay any longer that I would have to vacate the hotel for 72 hours then I would be welcome to stay up to an additional 6 days, then I would have to check out for 72 hours once again. I asked what the reason for it was and they said it was company policy, that they are doing this because they don't want people living out of the hotel. I wish I had known this before booking the additional 3 days because I wouldn't have stayed there. They are advertising that the price of the room includes Free Breakfast, totally untrue they have had ample time to remove this statement. The reason why they are not offering breakfast is due to the Covid 19 pandemic, correct me if I'm wrong but the pandemic is over two years old.

Only bad thing was bathroom was in need of maintenance. But the room itself was very nice. Bed was actually more comfortable than the one I have at home. Staff was quick to help with any concerns quickly. Would definitely stay here again. Excellent stay!

Love the stay!!! Specially the fact that I was able to bring my pet with me, the staff is very friendly and charming. The breakfast is great, can’t complain, I came with my family and they were happy. I am definitely coming back and will book here

This Hotel location was great. There is a lot of restaurants near by, a shopping center very close, and is located right between the mall and coliseum. The front desk was very friendly but could have been more quicker with check-in and there really aren't any amenities . But over all the staff was friendly the rooms were very clean and our stay was great.

Loved my stay at Clarion Point Airport!! Shortly after arrival I received a text from the front desk regarding there being warm cookies made and available. I just want to say, the cookies were Delicious 😋. Very delicious!! The front desk staff, dining room and housekeeping staff were very friendly and it was so nice to see genuine, smiling faces. Sorry Doubletree Inn, but they were better!! My room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The fitness center had modern equipment and I was very happy to see that there were clean, plush towels, and cleansing wipes provided. There are also TV’s in the fitness center but I did not utilize them. I just want to emphasize that I found their breakfast to be great! From the real, nicely seasoned eggs, to the sausage, bagels, yogurt, toppings, beverages, etc. There was great variety!! I look forward to staying again.

Because I drove to Washington by car, the hotel in the middle of the stop was much better than expected. It feels safer, breakfast, free parking, high cost performance, it is recommended.

The exterior of the La Quinta in Greensboro looked fine, and the entrance was welcoming enough. However, the experience went downhill quickly. After a long day of driving, we were met by a front desk clerk who was far from pleasant. Our room was a handicapped room at the end of the hall, which seemed like it would be quiet, but that was not the case. Upon entering the room, the peephole fell apart, leaving a hole in the door. The refrigerator didn’t work, and there were no basic amenities like soap or shampoo. The worst part was the constant noise from the door to the outside slamming shut all night. When we shared our concerns with the staff at checkout, they were indifferent and offered no solution. This was one of the most disappointing stays we’ve had, and we won’t be staying here again.

Came down for the Furniture Market, didn’t know what we were expecting when we arrived but WOW! What a Hotel! Staff was amazing, the rooms were clean and best of all…. the breakfast was much better than we expected. The beds were comfy, pillows were nice and the towels were fresh and white!!!! They have an Outdoor pool but was closed for the season but the Fitness Center was nice, probably a long time since I went to a hotel gym and none of the dumbbells were missing…..THANKY YOU WINGATE FOR HAVING ALL THE DUMBELLS!!!! The location is perfect for bars and is close drive to downtown Greensboro. If you are traveling and hesitant on where to stay, this Wingate is very nice. I already booked my stay for April and cannot wait to come back again for the Spring Market.

We were very disappointed in our recent four night stay. A major factor in choosing this hotel was the indoor pool. On the night of our check in we headed straight to the pool only to be met with a sign saying it was closed. When I politely inquired about it, the gentleman at the front desk could care less, didn't offer any apologies, and said it might be open next week or maybe not. We paid a premium to stay at this hotel (about $400/nt) because of a convention in town that we were not a part of. The pool closure was not listed on the website, in my booking confirmation, or in any of the other confirmations I received leading up to our trip. I did call customer service to voice my concern so we'll see what happens. The other big issue was housekeeping. There was a sign saying that you needed to request housekeeping. Reasonable enough. On the second night my husband went to the front desk to request it. He was told that we needed to request it in the morning. Okay, fine. So in the morning he goes back to the front desk and this time was informed that housekeeping is only provided every four days. Seriously?! So we were there for 4 nts/5 days and paid over $1700 and wasn't provided with any housekeeping. Totally unaccepable. The shining stars of this property were the women in the food area who were super pleasant and hardworking. I would not recommend this property. Look elsewhere.
