Hiranoya

Hiranoya in Gamagori was really great! They upgraded our room because we had children! Breakfast and dinner were buffet-style! We added dinner the day before, so I assumed it wouldn't be a buffet, lol. I should have asked what the menu was, lol. The bath was also very comfortable, and we were able to relax even with our children. I highly recommend the cave bath (^^) "Time Letter," still at Atelier of Words, is an experience where you send a letter to your future self! It's a rare experience, and I'm looking forward to it reaching my future self just when I've forgotten about it!! The staff were also very kind, and it was an inn I'd love to return to. Thank you so much!

The tatami beds at Hiranoya were spacious and comfortable, and I slept very well. However, the room had a noticeable musty smell, likely due to the humidity of the hot spring hotel. The bathroom also needed improvement: the showerhead hose was bent, requiring me to manually hold the hose up to wash my hair, which was very inconvenient.

The hotel is a bit old, but it has a strong Japanese atmosphere! The open-air bath is great. The large public bath is also nice and unique. I will go there again next time.

The room was upgraded and spacious, and the food was good. The soft drinks were a bit pricey, which was a shame. The view was also great.

I enjoyed my stay. Although the location was a bit inconvenient, it was nice to stay at a proper hot spring inn for the first time in a while. The food was quite good, and the free shuttle bus to the station was a nice touch. I'll definitely visit again if I get the chance. Thank you.

The facilities are relatively old, but the service attitude is still very good. The faucet was broken, and the waiter handled it relatively quickly. The environment is quiet, the hot springs are good, and it's ok.

As for the meal, because we didn't reach the designated number of people, the buffet was changed to a very luxurious kaiseki meal. We were also given a higher class room, and were given a larger room with a view of the ocean, which was very good service.
