On arrival we were met at the reception desk by a very laid back guy He informed us we had been given an upgrade ,and our room was overlooking the Loch Room was large and well maintained,Bed was huge would have slept four if you are in to that sort of thing The Hotel is close by for the High Street and the Station Only complaint was the noise coming from the room above .Sounded like they were wearing Doc Martin boots on there feet,.But of course the Hotel cannot be held accountable for that.Perhaps they could put a note in the rooms asking that they respect the people in room below One tip.The restaurants get busy very early,as there are a lot of North Americans staying in area,so would recommend you book a table where possible

I really like this hotel. The view is amazing, and the reception is very friendly. They also have a restaurant and bar downstairs, which is really a saver for us after a long day of driving.

Let's talk about it first, 1) The location is better, right on the main street. 2) The beds look sanitary. There are also bad: 1) The bathroom is not small, but the facilities are extremely mini. The washbasin is only about ten centimeters, there is almost no hand under the faucet, and you cannot wash your face. The shower uses a curtain. 2) The front desk is directly shared with the restaurant front desk on the first floor, which is very crowded. Other aspects are quite satisfactory, such as breakfast.

The hotel is opposite the station.theres a underpass leading to a park by the hotel free parking at the hotel. Disabled access and facilities in the hotel. Management and staff couldn't have been more helpful. We had a excellent 1st floor room with shower. Nice bar and lounge. Despite the amount off people the meals were excellent served by really helpful staff different menu each night each as good as the day before. Breakfast was as good both hot and cold choices. Went for 2 nights we had the wee room on the top floor, not much headroom . The room was an ok size had tv,shower no bath, bed was so comfee . Dressing gowns and slippers in the room. Free products for the shower. Coffee making facilities in your room including decaff tea and coffee. The place is very remote and we eat in there restaurant on the first night. I had the special, ribs unfortunately they were not great very tough and couldn't eat them, but everyone else's meals were good. They have a bar that opens till 11pm and a pool table. Breakfast was included and was lovely. You could choose off a menu and a good selection, including full English. Basket of bread and blueberry muffins on the table. Staff were lovely very friendly to us. The only negatives were * hairdryers was too hot as hair friezes, take your own. * shower power is very poor and if someone else is using it somewhere it goes to a drip. * the price, very expensive for a very wee room. Bigger toom was over £100 more. Just half a mile away is the lake and viaduct that was used in the second Harry Potter film worth a look and it has a pay and display car park.

Prices start at £4 or £5 per night... This is an old castle hotel on the west side of the Scottish Highlands. From a common area point of view everything is well done and impeccable. But from the point of view of the rooms...the price/performance ratio is obviously super low. The facilities are outdated, so I asked for a humidifier... A hair dryer that was produced 20 years ago came, which was completely unacceptable and had no humidifying effect at all. The shower room has very strict requirements on the size of the guests, and I personally feel that the water pressure can be further improved and improved. The laudable point is that the shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap in the bathroom...all have two ball royal certifications, and the quality is also carried. The cold and hot water device of the washbasin is a traditional separate type, which is the kind of water that you either use cold water or hot water, and it cannot be warm water anyway. The sofa in the guest room is made of fabric. The disadvantage is that you can't see whether it has lice or whether it is clean. Anyway, it is so old that people don't want to sit on it at all. The carpet is lint-free, which means it's ”aged”. Well, let's talk about the public area: the restaurant's production is still quite standard, with Michelin standards, whether it's dinner or breakfast... It's pretty good, but the quality of the coffee is not good. The service staff are warm, courteous, serious and smiling. There are several casual living rooms and even dining rooms in the indoor public area, all of which are luxurious, comfortable, freehand, and comfortable, and there is nothing to fault. There are a large number of areas in the outdoor woods and paths that need to be improved, such as greening projects. One last thing to add: parking is free. After all, the owner, Mr. Chai, is a Chinese from Southeast Asia. The land of the ancient castle covers an area of 5,000 acres... If parking charges are required... it would be too stingy. In general...you can say that it is an ancient European style, but I personally think that the ancient European style does not necessarily need to update or refresh the facilities and furniture. Especially with such a large area, if the greening is not done well... it really responds to the old saying ”gold and jade are outside, and there is nothing in it”.

We had an amazing stay here, the property has been recently refurbished and it's so elegant and spotlessly clean. The rooms are good size and they have everything you would need for your stay. Breakfast was amazing, lots of choices and v tasty. (Also, regarding the previous review, a B&B CAN offer breakfast, it does not mean it's included in the price - it says quite clear when you book if it's included or not and most properties offer it as an option). The location is so peaceful and very close to Fort William, Ben Nevis, Glencoe Valley, Glenfinnan Viaduct, etc All in all, excellent value for money as most accommodations in the area are much more expensive. The owners have been so friendly and helpful - thank you for making our stay memorable!

We had a friendly welcome in reception and found our rooms spotless, very well equipped and pleasant. They were not particularly big, but were singles and had all that was needed, The (double) beds in particular were very comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very good and provided an excellent choice. Staff in all areas were friendly and helpful. For anyone with mobility issues, there is no lift but I believe help was available with luggage if requested. The rooms had walk-in showers.
