It was an old lady's own room, there were only two rooms in total. The old lady was very enthusiastic and introduced us in detail the various facilities in the room, as well as the five kittens. It can be seen that every plant and tree showed her careful design and love for life. There is a spot nearby where you can watch the perfect sunset, but not many people know about it. It feels much better than watching the sunset at Oia Windmill where there are many people.

The lovely old lady landlord studied architecture, so she is happy to share the details of the two houses. It is located in a quiet location in the middle of the city, with a sea view, and you can enjoy everything in the small courtyard very leisurely.

I cannot recommend this property enough. If you are looking for an authentic, traditional Greek experience this is the place for you. The view is to die for, the room and bed is comfortable, and the location has perfect access to the road and to the small village/shopping area of Oia. The best part of this property is the owner. She loves what she does, prepared us a delicious breakfast each morning, and gave us great recommendations of what to do in Santorini and Naxos. We had missing luggage from our flight to Greece and she even went to the Santorini airport herself to try to track it down. I will be back to Santorini again just to stay at Lava Oias!
