We love the spectacular view looking out from our window over at Dean's Village. I feel really grateful to come back to the hotel knowing that there's a hot drink machine at the lobby (the temperature was -2 Degree Celcius) waiting for us. The one thing that totally put us off is the faulty service lift. We stayed on the third floor and we had to carry our luggage all the way up after a long travel from London. The hotel has only one staff at the reception and he told us that other staff had called in sick and there was no one that could help with the luggage. The breakfast was so-so too. The heater was working fine but if we turned it up a little, we could hear noises coming out from the heater. Overall, an average stay.

Highly recommend. Friendly stuff. Amazing breakfast. Definitely worth it.

Clean and warm. The staff was attwntive and friendly. Breakfast is homemade from a menu each morning and quite good. They have a cozy bar attached to the lobby for guests and a traditional style library thats open 24 hours for guests. Wifi worked well too. Definitely recommending again and will be referring my brother to stay here.

Although we were put in the ba*****t as the upstairs was fully booked, the room was spacious and clean. The staff are very responsive, responsive and very friendly! We were in a hurry in the morning, so we couldn't enjoy the rich breakfast slowly. After communicating with the restaurant staff, they helped us prepare the packaged food within five minutes. The delicious breakfast and caring and lovely staff are definitely the characteristics of this hotel highlights

The hotel is located in the West End area, which is the consulate area. There are several nice hotels in the area, all with very similar buildings, and the B&B is one of them that is very cozy. The reception staff were very welcoming and attentive. The room was not too big or too small, with beautiful lattice windows. There is a small library in the hotel (pictures 2 and 3), which is elegantly decorated, quiet and comfortable. There are many restaurants to choose from within 500 meters. The hotel's breakfast area is not big, but very cozy. The B&B is not far from the Licorice Market Railway Station (Figure 1), and there are bus and long-distance bus stations nearby, so the transportation is convenient. Suitable for parents and children, business trips, especially for sightseeing guests. recommend!

Such a magical place to stay! the view from the room was amazing. Reception lady was so kind and friendly. Perfect hotel to feel the Edinburgh! Nice view and quiet environment is very relaxing and recommended.

The elevator was out of action and I had to walk up 4 floors every day. The bathroom was clean and reasonably well equipped but the water pressure ( sink and toilet) was very poor. The bedroom was clean and functional

A lovely, clean hotel in a posh part of Edinburgh. I lost my watch during my trip but was relieved to get a call from the hotel to say it had been found in the room. Honest staff! The only criticism I would have was the breakfast - we waited an hour for a cooked breakfast. Floor staff didnt seem to know what was going on. That said, when it arrived, the breakfast was grand. All in all, I would stay here again.

The place is lovely!! Clean and the staff are very friendly. Also the breakfast in the morning is great with loads of options :))

We arrived a little late night, the place didn't have a big signage so it was bit hard to see it at night. The elevator is not working, climbing three flight of high ceiling stairs is a bit unfortunate. 2 of the lamps are busted. Good place with characteristic, nice outside view from the room. Will probably go back finger cross once the elevator is fixed.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel in a peaceful street in Edinburgh’s west end and just 5 minutes walk from Princes Street. Our room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Special thanks to Liam on reception and Heather in the breakfast room. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel, rooms spacious and clean, comfortable bed. Breakfast was superb with a huge selection from full Scottish to vegetarian. Staff really helpful and polite. Will definitely stay here again

The hotel is positioned in an excellent area for easy access to walks on the river and the bus/Tram services to town. The staff are very friendly and the hotel has a real homely feel with the staff making the whole experience a relaxed and enjoyable stay. The breakfast choices are amazing and delicious. They cater for vegetarian and vegan. We will definitely be back.
