*We recently stayed here for 10 days. Once we checked in we waited nearly half an hour for a luggage cart. We were the only people in the lobby that entire time. I inquired with the manager, who was at the front desk, and she offered to bring in our luggage for us and stated that other guests were using the luggage carts. There was a cart in the hallway being used by a maintenance man and after a half hour I asked if we could use that one, since it had sat unattended during our entire wait. First red flag. *They charge $10 per day for parking. The parking fee was a surprise to us on check-in, as it wasn't clear when we booked online. The location is along a freeway, which we heard clearly 24/7 from our room overlooking the freeway. The hotel is located at the edge of new development, next to an undeveloped field and a huge apartment complex. The closest thing in walking distance is a Maverick service station about a mile away. This is the first ever suburban lodging in which we have stayed where they charged us for parking. Second red flag. And third and fourth. *The walls and carpet in the hallways have stains on them. The interior of the elevator was dirty, throughout our stay litter in the common areas was common. The workout room was relatively clean. The pool had litter around it every day we were there. *Our room also had stains on the walls and furniture. We debated about whether there had been a paintball fight in the room due to the neon green paint or a murder due to the dark smeared smudges high on the wall above the kitchen area. The carpet in our room was stained. *On one of the days of our 10 day stay we requested housekeeping, specifically asking for clean linens. Their policy clearly states that housekeeping is available upon request. When we returned in the evening the room was still dirty and they had made up the bed with the dirty sheets on it. A call to the front desk resulted in an offer to bring up clean sheets for us that I could put on the bed. Lame. I said I had hoped that the housekeepers would do that, which is why we had requested the service the day before. Honestly, for the amount of money we paid per night being told to change our own sheets was a bit much. Was told the manager of housekeeping would be up immediately and we should step out of the room for 20 minutes. Apparently ”immediately” means different things to different people. After waiting in the hall the housekeeping manager showed up, surly and unhappy. Unpleasant encounter. Housekeeping staff in generally seems to be short staffed and poorly trained. *Internet. Well, don't rely on having it. Both my partner and myself experienced technical difficulties every single time we tried to connect to the internet, On the occasions when we were successful, the internet was painfully slow. Our one attempt at a video call was cut off multiple times before we gave up. *Noisy. We were able to hear the kids running up and down the hallways both on our floor and the f

Clean, good breakfast, there is a buffet just a few steps away.

Seemed like a brand new hotel (or near enough) - my room was immaculate, spacious, good TV, shower pressure great and the bed one of the most comfortable I've seen. There's also a terrace out front with a grill which is a nice touch - and a small fitness centre. Great cleaning service & plenty of towels provided too. Only negative would be a) lack of bar/restaurant, and b) lack of breakfast options. Breakfast is included but the only hot options are powdered scrambled eggs, dry sausage patties, toaster for bagels/bread and a waffle maker. I'd like a few more warm breakfast item options, & a coffee machine would be nice. Also be aware that the location is just off the highway so not particularly picturesque (although if you look right out of reception, you do get a great view of the mountains so you could just focus on that I guess!).

Very dirty, smells badly and the free breakfast is junk. I am not the type of person who complains normally…but wanted to warn others. We checked in and charged $100.00 deposit before I left the desk. Now I am told it takes 4 days to refund. Okay… not a huge deal. However, a none smoking hotel, shouldn’t that also mean no *********, but the smell was all over. The carpets are so bad we never walked barefooted. The walls had stains and damage. No pool/hot tub. The bathroom was so gross we wore water shoes while bathing. Unfortunately, we were there for a softball tournament and all close hotels were full. The free breakfast is held in a small dark break room with very limited seating. The horrible coffee, powder creamer, cereal, yogurt and mini waffles (one maker) that’s it. Overall, minus the yelling in the parking lot, it was quite. The mini refrigerator was also dirty and the mini microwave was as well. The hairdryer was broke - plug was missing. Giving this place anything above a 1 would be a major stretch. The whole place, other than the lobby, needs a remodel.
