Dorchester

In desperate need of a refurbishment. The room was clean but shabby. Lots of little things that just add up to disappointment. The televisions don’t work properly with constant pressing of remote control buttons to get it to work. The Ultimate Wi-Fi is patchy and kept kicking me out. The lift is problematic when using your key card to confirm that you are a resident. Self check in stations never work. The sheets don’t fit the bed and the spare pillows come in a sealed bag, however our bag was not sealed and the pillow case had a blood spot on it so suspect that the pillows were used by the previous occupants. Staff also bring their family into the restaurant to sit around in the evenings.

Love this Premier Inn, great location and friendly staff, I took advantage of the early in for £10, greeted with a smile, room was clean and quirt, the hole stay was perfect, no issues and a quirt night. I ate in the restaurant in the evening, food was quite good, we had the spicy chicken burger and the prawn cocktail for starters, would recommend them both.

Not great but for the price I guess you can’t complain , toilet wasn’t that clean , the carpet in our room definitely hadn’t been hoovered in a while as was thick with hair and fluff etc , staff are SUPER friendly and very kind/helpful, the breakfast was good in the morning

I booked this Premier Inn as they normally have a good level of service and decent experience. Dorchester was the exception to this for me. The cooked breakfast was stone cold. The gluten free options were confusing and the staff didn't know what ingredients were used in the sausages. The room was noisy until 01.30 and overall my experience was very poor here. Will not be returning.

did not have evening meal, because it was far too cold in the restaurant to be comfortable, we usuals outsily have the meal deal which is good value for money, we had to go to restaurant of the hotel area which were expensive

Underground parking available, clean room, friendly staff. Hotel is situated right next to a square with shops and restaurants. Fountains spray up for the kids to play in. Skate park down the road. Could not log into free WIFI (had to pay for WIFI). Had to use 4G. Signal not great in hotel.

Fantastic stay at this premier inn this week. The hotel is in a great location for the Dorset coastline having enjoyed a day in Weymouth and another in Charmouth. The hotel itself is great, all the staff we encountered were fantastic. My children were given colouring with a little sweet treat at check in, which was great, so thoughtful and gave me 5 minutes peace! The room was made up ready and was clean. Room was a little bit tired in places but nothing to worry about. We had breakfast in the hotel and again kids were given colouring to do. Cold selection of food was good but cooked breakfast wasn’t replenished often and unfortunately was cold. Appreciate it wasn’t busy so maybe didn’t need to be refreshed often but must have been there a long time for sausages to be stone cold. This was the only slight let down. Overall a great stay.

Hotel was very clean, quiet. friendly.hotel is Surrounded by many really good restaurants. We were dissatisfied with an under cooked breakfast. We were told our complaint was couldn’t be dealt with and go to head office. Terrible food

Premier Inn Dorchester. Arrived at 12.30 and asked if we could park and a very unwelcoming receptionist told us not until 3.00. Room looked sad and in need of a refit. The sofa bed stank of urine and was badly stained. I reported this and they sprayed it. The bedding was grey and the pillows stank. I complained and nothing was done but they did agree with me and said new bedding was being delivered on Tuesday. Breakfast was mostly cold. The cook was cross and saying I can’t do it all I’m on my own. We left one day early we couldn’t stay it was awful.
