Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island

Great place in best condition, great service and really friendly personnel! Unbelievable beautiful beaches, we have never experienced as clean and large beaches with even some places away from the hotel witch towels, water, infrastructure… Only downside: great diving, but I am not sure, if a single tank dive with own equipment should be priced at the triple of other good quality diving in the region?

We travelled as a family of four (my husband and I, and our 2 sons- 5 yo and 10 yo). Honestly, the island is magical. If you expect to be pampered and drink cocktails while on the beach, this is not the place. This is the perfect place for an adventurous holjday, where you can cycle around the island through tropical forests where you ll see turtles wandering around free, and visit all the beaches, which are quite secluded. You ll get to feel and hear the ocean without the average resort noise around. Keep in mind that at the beach, you have to cater yourself, having been put at disposal cold water and clean towels. The staff is very hardworking, I appreciate all their effort and I truly saw their dedication to make us feel good. Starting with Annie, with her warm welcome, Eric - best of the best, my kids loved him, and Tai Pai( sorry if I didn t get it right) from Claudine Restaurant, the amazing lebanese Chef whose dishes were delicious, the cleaning team which were really hardworking and humble, I really appreciate you all and you ll all remain in our minds and hearts until next time! Our short stay was magical and we will definitely come back to this amazing place!

Four Seasons Seychelles is genuinely one of the most beautiful places imaginable. I brought my mum for a week stay and we both wished we had been able to stay longer. The staff are wonderful. The service is among the best in the world. The food is also world class. The rooms are spotless and perfectly maintained. The resorts grounds are immaculate and straight out of a fairytale. Not a single thing about this place either my mum or I would change.

Wonderful trip! Large villa with very spacious villa. Very clean and cozy. The service was truly worldclass. The staff is super personal and friendly. We would like to thank all the staff but especially Lai Lai, Bablù, Imran, Melody, Florence, Prakash and Melvin. The island offers many beaches and a beautiful turqoise sea. You can explore the island by bike or call a buggy to taxi you to any destination. The food quality is super good and they will take care of all of your personal preferences. We are already planning our next trip to the island as it's truly a paradise!

Me and my brother went to Desroches for fishing on the outer Atoll. Kyle the chief guide far exceeded our expectations and made for a truly memorable experience. The hotel villas make this location a must visit if you visit only one place in the Seychelles. Attention to detail is done by all of the staff.

What an incredible place, this was the final stop on our honeymoon of the Seychelles and right from the moment we stepped of the plane, we were in heaven. The whole island is just amazing. The service, accommodation, food, grounds, and facilities. I won't go into too much detail about the villa as I'm sure they're all incredible like ours, and we loved walking on to the beach at dusk, cycling around and swimming in various spots. We spotted sharks, and swam with turtles! The main restaurant and pool area are lovely, well set out and with a fabulous range of food and drinks available. Breakfast, lunches and dinners were all amazing, whether in the main restaurant, at the Japanese deli or at the light house. The best food throughout our entire stay at the Seychelles on a consistent basis. The whole place really is so close to perfect, given the size of the island, exploring is fun but I can't imagine anyone would want longer than a week realistically. Rather than 5/5 I think 9.5 out of 10 is a more realistic score. We found a couple of small hiccups. On the first day I signed up to attend the football and arrived there to find one other guest. It turned out the football had been cancelled but no one had told us. On another evening we booked a buggy to take us to the lighthouse but it never turned up so we had to ring and rebook one. Finally, we had booked to go snorkelling and planned our day around it but it was cancelled and we were only told 20 minutes before, this wasn't a problem but just means we would have planned our day differently and not gone for such an early lunch. We did however manage to book on to football and snorkelling another day but they do demonstrate that it was so close to being perfect. In reality though, the whole place is so special even these small lapses don't take away from such an amazing time spent there. Probably the best place we will ever stay.

Perfect palace and would say this island tops as well the Maldives – it´s so quiet and peaceful. If you want to do something you can explore the island with nice beaches or just stay in your villa and make use of your pool. Service and staff are excellent, and it was simply a very nice environment.

We were there with our three small kids and had a picture perfect vacation- hard to ask for more! Super attentive service, perfectly sized villas are nicer than in pics, and island is like a fairy tale :)

Des Roches is an amazing island with a unique eco system, including a habitat for turtles and sea birds. There are a lot of things you can do on the island, which can be explored by bike or electric bike. There are several pristine fully equipped beaches all over the island. The resort supports conservation efforts, 100% of power is generated through solar power. You are at a unique island with turtles, birds and a coral reef with excellent service that only Four Seasons may offer. The only area that was below excellent was the management of water sports (not affiliated with Four Seasons): the manager Gavin was disorganized, reached out to me by WhatsApp and then refused to take booking by Whatapp, rescheduled another booking less than 2 hours before start. The rest of the managers and staff were all excellent! It is amazing that such level of service can be perfected on an island in the middle of the ocean
